Scatman John Scatman's World

It seems like a well-deserved tribute: I'm the Scatman
I'm the Scatman
Everybody stutters one way or the other
So check out my message to you.
As a matter of fact don't let nothin' hold you back.
If the Scatman can do it so can you.
Everybody's sayin' that the Scatman stutters
But doesn't ever stutter when he sings.
But what you don't know I'm gonna tell you right now
That the stutter and the scat is the same thing.
Yo I'm the Scatman.
Where's the Scatman ? I'm the Scatman.
Why should we be pleasin' all the politician heathens
Who would try to change the seasons if they could?
The state of the condition insults my intuitions
And it only makes me crazy and my heart like wood.
Everybody stutters one way or the other
So check out my message to you.
As a matter of fact don't let nothin' hold you back.
If the Scatman can do it brother so can you.
I'm the Scatman.
Everybody stutters one way or the other
So check out my message to you.
As a matter of fact don't let nothin' hold you back.

No Cece65, it’s not credible, even though you have a vast musical culture and sometimes you’re right. The whole overrated discussion — on what basis do you make that claim? What does "too successful" mean? So even the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, "who have been so successful," are overrated. It seems to me that you're getting tangled up in your own arguments. It’s obvious that "overrated" is according to your personal standard of judgment. It seems to me instead that they have been evaluated in line with numerous critiques and reviews about them.

Anyway, great recovery. As for me, I’m not ashamed at all of this photo. On the contrary, I would be proud of it. I have several stories I’d like to share about my ancestors and old acquaintances. Stories of war in the foothills of the Apennines. I feel absolutely no shame. In that peasant, I see only pride and goodness. He understood who he could trust. This is not to say that the Americans were really the “liberators,” but to affirm that the Italian is (perhaps was) a “good Christian.”

I think you're confusing certain country (like the one you suggested, for example) with certain folk, roots, and country-rock... The country you propose, let's say the country that's at the top of the US charts, is so bland and silly (try translating any song) that it makes little sense outside of the cab of an American truck driver before he gets ready to indulge in beer and hamburgers. Instead, there are people who have poured their souls into songs that truly speak about this nation with its many facets. To distinguish the good grass from the bad, there's a simple trick: if it has a cowboy hat (especially on the cover), it usually sucks.
