I liked them, but I also don't consider them essential. Thirty years later, I’m highlighting these little southern phenomena; listening to them is a pleasure, and it's a shame they haven't been reviewed here yet. Give them a listen: The Sheepdogs - The One You Belong To
Foo Fighters Wasting Lights

Hi hi hi white limo is nice (the video). A track that almost touches a 3.

I am "screwed" like you. This album (beautiful, at times very much) fills me with great nostalgia.

The father who says "ddaicazzo" is quite horrifying and anyway centered around a certain type of Italian macho, vulgar, and uncouth father. There are plenty of these kinds of characters governing us.

Geo, I actually haven't read the book, but from the lines of the review, it seems to me that the subjects mentioned come across in a negative light: just the title alone seems quite derogatory.

Excuse me, but has it become a trend to shovel shit on Saviano? Or has the one who wanted him to pay finally succeeded? Some of Camilleri's books, while not masterpieces, are extremely enjoyable and cannot be compared to the Da Vinci Code, which is much more refined and sophisticated. The same goes for the shit-shoveling directed at Grillo; I'm not saying he's a genius, huh! But who had the guts to do what he did? Sure, he made a ton of mistakes, I mean... but do we forget the courage? Even Corona seems fairly honest in what he writes and promotes (some) concepts that I agree with. He also has flaws (he drinks... well; he's weird... alright; maybe ridiculous, who cares). Allevi has done his honest work and has broken through. The quality is what it is... but for someone to come and tell me he’s an opinion leader just makes me laugh. I don't know Petrini and I'm not interested in getting to know him, but since few of us know him, I doubt he’s this opinion leader described by the author. I haven't read this book, but it gives me the feeling of wanting to feed the average Italian who is envious in the face of others' success (deserved or not). The journalist should shine a spotlight on the real opinion leaders, perhaps hidden and nefarious: I’ll cite one who has caused enormous harm to the country: Mediaset.

I would never trade Wall-e for this, especially because the former is quite boring compared to UP.

It's a really beautiful film, with a fantastic soundtrack. I agree with the reviewer, it's one of the best short films ever. At first, not having seen it, I thought that the death of a character had ruined everything, but instead, it's a masterpiece, minute by minute. The review is emo-abstract.
