Pleasantly rediscovering old things like PuntiniCaz and The Punisher... and after reading the review, I must... agree with PuntiniCaz. Almost reluctantly.
And yes, because unfortunately in Italy what we lack like water in the desert is Culture. That is, reading, reading, learning, criticizing. Informing oneself, deepening understanding. Evaluating and once again informing oneself.
How the hell can you be informed only and for the first time through a movie to the point of being shocked? Why write clichés like "Italy doesn’t exist," "Italy has never existed..."?
Do we forget the men and women who were killed for this? Partisans, magistrates, politicians, police officers, entrepreneurs, journalists... all a bunch of assholes? I mean... do you know the history of Italy before saying it has never existed? Or after watching this film (reading the book?) do you dive back into the PlayStation or the European Championship matches?
Coming back to the present day... are you not shocked when a Prime Minister says it's time to stop with these wiretaps... from now on they will only be allowed for mafia and terrorism? What do you think? What implications can such a statement have? Isn’t it, in its own way, shocking? Hello old things and young sprouts.

... ehm I forgot the record: Ryan Adams, for me, after a great start, has not made the leap in quality. It's likely he will remain where he is, in the alt-rock-country-engaged-galaxy of the hyper-internet-space.

I fully agree with the reviewer: all this downloading has only filled our computers with files. Today's youngsters will never understand what it felt like to wait for that huge vinyl to be displayed in the record shop window and then... buy it with their pocket money and then... enjoy it in their room with the giant stereo... with speakers a meter high and maybe inviting a friend over to listen. While flipping through the megaposters or photos of concerts or our idols on stage (that was what drove me crazy: concert photos) and then reading the lyrics, and then listening to the bass... and then, and then... Well, it sounds like the ramblings of an old fogey, and in part it is, but surely, the internet and all the rampant downloading no longer give us the pleasure of selecting who truly deserves it. Once, when you had to cough up the cash, there was no way you were buying any alt-emo-kore rubbish (also because they didn't exist)!

I arrive after just a year and a half to say: superb and exciting album.
A must-buy. I don't give it a 5 only because it doesn't have very original sounds (if that means anything) but it features truly enjoyable songs.
Great.
