California in the late '70s and '80s was almost a paradise... blonde women, trash metal bands, M. Jackson, Palm Beach, Ollivuuud, pump/pop/rock/... oh my God... no AIDS, no crisis, no Bush (well, Reagan...), no Islamic terrorists, no cell phones, no iPhone, no ADSL, no economic crisis, no Internet... end of the west coast era and the beginning of the metal/pump/rock/pop era... good times...

Neu!2 as "an absolutely nonexistent case"? Are you out of your mind?? Vortex as "it doesn't seem appropriate to make judgments or evaluations about the matter"? Why? Have you read the book? Haven't you formed your own opinion? I'll start with Neu!2: The case, instead, is extremely relevant to me, not so much for what our country did years ago, but because France and now Brazil are covering for him almost as if Italy (and not just today with Berlusconi in power, mind you) were a trivial little nation with a police state that persecutes certain types of people (I’m not even talking about the recent abhorrent outbursts from the Northern League...). The reality is simple: there’s a guy, a brigatista, even if he’s an intellectual or whatever, who has been sentenced to life in prison for four murders. And for decades he has been running away to avoid serving his sentence. On the merits, I have always believed that political struggle using violence is merely an expression of animalistic ignorance. Political battles are fought with newspapers, strikes, articles, journalists, trade unionists, anything but guns and bombs. But I repeat, aside from this, here we have two nations, most recently Brazil, that do not respect our legal system. What would have happened if a multiple murderer from the United States had not been extradited? Vortex, I believe that our opinion needs to be expressed courageously, because saying that Battisti must serve his sentence is not playing into the hands of some Berlusconi or propagating or instrumentalizing anything; it affirms our jurisdiction and our laws, which should be respected by everyone.

Claisdead... is a rhetorical question with a polysemic meaning and, as it seemed obvious to me, has a plurality of levels of interpretation.

Lewis Tollani: "If we want to comment on what a nice move Papa Naziger made by bringing back into his fold the excommunicated followers of Lefebvre." Let's talk about it... indeed, that slightly Teutonic-Germanic accent of his had already raised some doubts for me. Then his interventions (already hinted at during the time of his predecessor... he was the one indicating the way in recent years) on topics of daily life confirmed my suspicions. Someone has dug up his youth among the Nazis; I thought and still think it's the usual digging up of dirt from a famous person's past. Then I watch him as he speaks... motionless, he only smiles with his mouth, his eyes are sunken and ringed in black, not smiling at all. Well, I thought and still think, maybe it's just my impression. Then this latest revisionist news comes along... meh...
