... and if the coffers are crying, it's certainly not by leaving a few hundred poor souls stranded in the middle of the sea or sending them back that the public debt will be resolved. We know very well where the waste is: in the state. In public employees. In the management of state finances. In state agencies. In entities managed by the state as well. That’s where the black hole is. Municipalities, Provinces, Regions, all kinds of entities, mountain communities, marine communities, parks, small parks, local tourist boards, various nonsense. That's where the waste is. Why are we fooling ourselves? What do those poor wretches have to do with it? Does sending them back fix the public debt? Do us a favor! Another matter is the certainty of punishment. The certainty for those who are here. The law on three-month renewable vacations from time to time. The black market. Imported crime and a thousand other little things. These populist nonsense about sending the wretches back, about organizing patrols, about keeping immigrants indefinitely in "reception centers," DNA, etc... I leave those to those who believe in them. Italy is not like that. Not the one that came out of the last war.

Punticapuntini... yours is another point of view. The point of view of someone who feels good at home. The point of view of someone who watches from their window those passing by and if they see a filthy person, they slam the door. If they knock, they don’t open. Next time they know there's no food for cats there. It’s just another point of view, huh! Our parents didn’t just go to the US and Australia. They went all over Europe, to Argentina, and to many other countries. Here, not many years ago, life was very hard. There was hunger. Hunger. Not having food to eat. Who knows what that means here with us? I don’t. My grandparents told me something. A few days ago, something "out of a movie" almost happened to me: as I was leaving the house with my family, laughing with them after Sunday lunch, joking and playing... I crossed the gaze of a Black boy with a dark bag slung over his shoulder who whispered to me, "Beautiful life, huh?" I think about it often.

I can't resist, I have to paste it somewhere: "MILAN - Once there were reserved seats for women, the elderly, or the disabled. Now the League's MP Matteo Salvini proposes metro carriages 'for Milanese only.' -- 'PALERMO - Sent back to Libya directly from the sea, without touching land. A turning point in Italian immigration policy. The 227 migrants who reached the Sicilian Channel on three flimsy boats will not be accommodated in the reception camps of Lampedusa. Maroni: 'Turning the tide against illegal immigrants.' Interior Minister Roberto Maroni rejoices." Then he adds to Franceschini's 'racial laws': 'I should be outraged by this, but I can only smile. We fight illegal immigration while the Pd promotes it.' ---- Rejoicing in the misfortunes of others..., enacting absurd laws, moreover passing them with confidence... leaving places free for the 'meneghini'... I imagine those poor souls dehydrated, starving, thirsty, angry, afraid, alone, cold in the middle of the sea. I picture our fathers stepping down from ships and trains in other countries... I always envision the same desperate faces of people who are hungry. Damn, they are just hungry people! It hurts to think about it. They say the Libyans treat these people who try to leave on boats like animals... what will happen to these 227? I'm starting to feel a slight regret for CraxiFornaliAndreotti, or CAF. God, what a populist descent. Led by brutally ignorant individuals. They are not racists; they are just ignorant like goats. Dangerous ignorants. Stupidity has always been extremely dangerous in human history."

Instead, we need to go hard. Ballarò was awful in every possible way, as Sfascia writes. Rossella and Bondi (there's no typo) are small court jesters with a quick comeback that throws any criticism back in the face of whoever makes it, usually at Franceschini... who is not serious while they are serious. Rossella claims there's nothing wrong with running pretty girls as candidates... emmecojoni! Because it'll be the voter who chooses... but why doesn’t she go mock someone else? Bondi repeats with a dry mouth, his face crinkled with the terror of whoever is listening to him closely (not the listener, huh), that he is tormented by the pain of Berlusconi’s wife affair. Franceschini, with that somewhat awkward face, babbles about how all of this is so disgusting, that the prime minister should set an example... here and there(?), let's not even get into the professor who dribbles on himself and the trade unions that don't count for shit anymore. Instead, dear Sfascia, I completely disagree with the little guy from the polls. ATTENTION: let’s not underestimate them because I am 100% sure, furthermore confirmed by today's ones, that the average Italian couldn’t care less about what the scruffy Berlusca is doing. The important thing is that he's getting us out of the bullshit garbage and Romanians. So let’s be careful not to make the umpteenth and usual mistake of the entire left: underestimating Silvio, perhaps not believing in the polls, which then regularly puts us (to the communists, or even simply to those like me who believe in a minimum of social equity and respect for the rules) in a tough spot. Floris seemed like a disjointed and deliriously happy puppet yesterday... why the hell is he laughing? And lastly... long live Veronica. I know she's just an old rich lady, adorned in jewels, and she does all this for Silvio’s damned money. Or maybe she had a more bitter regurgitation than usual and perhaps, looking at herself, she grossed herself out... Nevertheless, long live Veronica! Damn it. Prime minister... respect women for God's sake, respect those who have less power than you, damn it. Respect us.
