Jurix.. first of all, the "doing regardless" that I mean as a value is a "doing" that is almost philosophical, certainly subjective, and pertains to the individual. As you interpret it, namely as an excessive industrial production without measure, it is clear that it is only deleterious. However, it is also true that, in our system, factories, industry, or the tertiary sector support many families. And if the company devises every possible way to do more, invent something, or propose new things, it is merely a way to stay afloat and survive. And with it, millions and billions of people survive. It's the system, as Puniticaz reminded us, and within this system, we have to move. We should also remember that hyper-production is counterbalanced by hyper-demand. In summary: if we have become foolish (or have allowed ourselves to be made foolish) with cell phones and new technologies, who should we blame if not ourselves? Why always blame someone else? If, for example, we believe that a phone is sufficient until it breaks, instead of chasing the latest technological nonsense, you will see that we would create the market ourselves. It is also true that needs are purposely created for us (I make a camera that, every year, churns out photos with ever-increasing megapixels, and then you will have to repurchase the computer, the hard drive, the software, etc.), but it’s up to us not to fall into that trap. So, in my opinion, self-criticism comes first.

Well Stoney... your last post is a bit toxic. I mean: it’s one thing to say that a competitive mindset is not exactly educational, but it’s another thing not to see "doing regardless" as a value. Doing regardless is a huge value on which Italy has become what it is, while other countries may be what they are. I’ve seen Italian emigrants, almost all of them, bust their ass and often succeed and achieve incredible success in other nations. And, above all, in times of crisis like these, never let your guard down, never stop. Never get discouraged. You have to get moving, find something, innovate, propose, or maybe even do a job for almost nothing while trying to maintain your position for when better times come. On this, Silvio is right. The nihilistic and whiny attitude of certain left-wing individuals and some of their followers can sometimes be irritating. Complaining without doing a damn thing is annoying and harmful. The crisis is global, so it makes no sense to blame bosses, small bosses or department heads! All this with the right amount of respect for the person and their spaces.

Isis = useless trade union delegate. But, Iside, do trade unions still exist? No, because it's been years and years since we've seen them. All divided, each pulling for their own little parish. And the Government doesn't take them into account. I remember that years ago, when trade unions were called together, if they didn't agree, we would stay at the tables day and night... with the advent of Silvio, if it goes well, fine, if not... shoo! And Silvio has shown that they count for nothing. If they were to take to the streets, he would do the same and bury them.

You say Comp? Looking at your icon, I think you have self-annihilated.

Stoney... I think you hit on one of the saddest problems in our society in your comment number 113. You're right: the people are numbed. Why react when things are going relatively well, despite everything? When they distract us with everything so we don’t think about anything?

This is a great album. But it can't be compared to the masterpiece "The Nightfly."

Yes, I read it in the '80s too. Tremendous nostalgia, almost physical. A little book that can be read in a few hours. It's worth letting yourself go.

But this new stunt by Silvio isn't being commented on by anyone? "The PDL doesn't want a multicultural Italy (like the left wanted)." Is everyone in Italy out of their minds? Isn't anyone protesting anymore? Do you realize what this phrase implies? I don't know if you notice the slight difference from a phrase like: We don't want an Italy filled with irregulars. No! Silvio doesn't want any more blacks, Chinese, Arabs & the whole gang. What's happening? And you young people... what the hell are you doing? Enough with this damn internet that's frying your brains. Get outside and protest against this barbarity!!
