Come on, De Lorenzo will stay with us for a few more years and will have his big moment when he reviews: "Berlusconi - A Life, an Era, Three Televisions and Four Whores" by his dear friend Bondi, Mondadori Publishing, obviously.

I hope that the crisis of the left will be overcome by a figure opposite to that of Craxi. I dream of a politician who is honest, tough, and pure. One who doesn’t kiss ass (see Veltroni in the opening line of this review), one who doesn’t get fooled and play the opponent's game (see D'Alema who screwed over his own Prodi government for two votes and who, when he was President, was undermined and willingly screwed over by Berlusconi regarding the Mediaset affair). I dream of someone with character and charisma (so Franceschini excluded), someone who, at the first defeat, doesn’t retreat like a coward (Veltroni excluded), someone who doesn’t steal our money for his own convenience or for friends, a man who doesn’t go to bed with a showgirl and then is forced to make her a Minister; I dream of a great statesman. A morally upright man, one with guts, someone who can rally the masses (so Bersani excluded), in short, someone serious. Craxi, Berlusconi, various Christian Democrats (and now various members of the PD) et similia are the lowest point reached by Italian politics. It's a dream, I know.

I fondly remember from him "24,000 kisses and Your kiss is like a rock."

What memories. Just a nice notch below Mellencamp, Petty, and Springsteen. His rock was much, much more softened and commercial. In short, a "nice" rock. I like Night Moves and Against the Wind, but perhaps more for personal reasons than for their actual value.

Traumacronic ahahahhaahhaahahahhhahha. I love to blame! And why should I write "something memorable"? When would I ever? Instead, I’ve hung your sentences in the living room and in the hallway, framed with faux wood frames with matting.

Traumacronico, I take a moment to think before writing, so it takes me about 15 seconds longer than you. I don't blame what you've written, you know? I actually blame your essence, which is perfectly expressed by your nickname.

Traumacronico, for goodness' sake, your bolshevistic ideas are quite respectable, you know. When you tell us that Nick Cave is greater than Springsteen live, I don’t know in what sense. Maybe the lights are better? I think he’s an amazing performer, I’m not sure if he’s the greatest since there are many criteria, but surely between the 70s and 80s his concerts were practically unbeatable. Now he’s aged, but he’s still a beast. I have many points of comparison too, and I can assure you that live, very few, but very few can match him. To give an example, the concerts of U2 or Depeche Mode, as enjoyable as they are, leave me (and I mean me) with the feeling that it’s more of a performance, well done, but a performance nonetheless. Bruce feels or seems more real. That’s not a small thing.
