Psaicopompe, what... are you saying? Should we be more scandalized by a meteorite on a pop icon (the Pope) than by the depiction of hanging children? What measure of judgment-values have you applied to your reasoning? Sorry, but I don't understand. I respect those who are outraged as well as those who adore this work of art. So it kinda pisses me off, like punny mentioned above, how you guys vent towards the users instead of staying within the "fence" of the reviewed work. It's stronger than us: we enjoy the personal attack well hidden behind a 20-inch screen. And getting back to Psyco... what would be the point of hanging three puppets shaped like bare-footed children from a plant?

Kosmo, with the next question about doll clothing, I'm losing it. I'm all sweaty and exhausted after my reasoning... and you spit on me??

Two little things: There is an enormous difference between Toscani, who takes photographs to sell products, and the "artists" who create works solely for their own sake. Toscani gets paid well for his advertising photos, while the artist should be "pure" from this standpoint. Do you think it’s always like this? Cattelan, for example, do you want him to not consider how much fame he will gain while inventing his work and, consequently, how much his valuations in the art market will increase, and ultimately, how much money he will stuff into his pocket? What could be faster than provocation to reach the largest number of people, along with all the consequences that follow? Perhaps skill?

Good reviewer! You’ve raised a big issue. I haven’t seen the film, but I think you might have a point. Perhaps children don’t grapple with the existential problems you suggest, but certainly, if it affected you as an adult this way, something’s not right. They say the film is beautiful precisely for that reason, and it’s likely that it is, but... can a child be troubled by the (real, actual, and probable) problems of life in an animated film at such a young age? I believe the solution is not to take children, at least the younger ones. It wouldn’t make sense. The fairy tale must still cloak the villain and the ugly things with a coarsely understood and ultimately unrealistic veil (e.g., the big bad wolf, evil aliens, bad sharks, wicked witches, etc.)... damn... not being able to have children, the death of a loved one, and especially real estate developers!!!! Come on. The witch is fine, the real estate developer is not, the (real and true death of a wife) is not!!!! I think you’re right, reviewer.

Oh... if it's about Death-doom, then I was waiting for it too! It's a shame I missed the release of this album... reading the song titles (Into Night's Requiem Infernal) made my mouth water...

Yosif, these Raveonettes have always piqued my interest, but not to the point of listening to a whole album. So, I’ll ask the question of the young woodchuck: Which album would you recommend I start with... or rather, what is their most beautiful album?
