Anyway, staying on topic, in the US, Owl City has been floating in the top ten for a while, raking in several million dollars with a homemade disc made alone on his PC. I don't see anything wrong with making a record by yourself. In the folk genre, for example, there are several excellent albums recorded live at home. Perhaps you haven't considered the remarkable progress of electronic devices that, years ago, forced you into a recording studio, and now you have comfortably at home. A sentence that makes little sense; you can't mix technological evolution with art.
