It seems that someone has fallen terribly behind on the trial regarding the events at Diaz (including the author of the book, of course). In May 2010, there was the appeal verdict: "The judges of the Third Section of the Court of Appeal of Genoa overturned the first-degree ruling regarding the riots and the raid at the Diaz school in July 2001 in Genoa. All police leaders who had been acquitted were sentenced to prison terms ranging from 3 years and 8 months to 4 years, along with a prohibition from holding public office for 5 years. In total, the sentences exceed 85 years. A total of 25 defendants out of 27 were convicted. The head of anti-crime Francesco Gratteri was sentenced to four years, the former commander of the first mobile unit of Rome Vincenzo Canterini to five years, the former deputy director of Ucigos Giovanni Luperi (now at the Agency for Internal Information and Security) to four years, the former head of Digos in Genoa Spartaco Mortola (now deputy police chief in Turin) to three years and eight months, and the former deputy head of Sco Gilberto Caldarozzi to three years and eight months.
Two other police officers, Pietro Troiani and Michele Burgio, accused of bringing Molotov cocktails into the school, were sentenced to three years and nine months. The ideological forgeries and some episodes of serious injury were not declared expired. On the other hand, the crimes of minor injuries, defamation, and unlawful arrests were declared expired. For the 13 police officers convicted in the first degree, the sentences were increased."

When it comes to albums, though, it’s a different story. Making an album just to evoke the glory of past hits is a bit sad... instead, creating an album that brings back the old times, I don't know, the vibe of the early '90s, well, that's a different matter. That could be enjoyable.

But welcome the nostalgia effect... what's wrong with that? It's a noble feeling. More than anything, I can't believe my eyes: songs "far superior" to those of Soup???? I mean, are we facing a masterpiece??

Cptgaio, that thing about Odifreddi is just my personal opinion. Probably a minority one, silly, open to criticism, petty (that too), instinctive, clueless. Yet, in this life, I would “rather shoot myself” than be as sure, cold, and calculating as he is.
