@ Bartleboom: Hello :) Look, I consider Ferrara's first period to be intriguing but still too raw and b-movie. Ms 45 - The Driller Killer - China Girl are films made on a shoestring budget with great potential, but still too influenced by the difficult conditions under which they were shot (ate + ate + ate). I think King and Snake Eyes are excellent films, with Walken and Keitel being multi-orgasmic, but The Bad Lieutenant and Brothers, for me, represent the pinnacle and cinematic testament of the great Ferrara. Why? Brothers for its classic Nick Cave vibe that’s like a pack of cigarettes you don't pull from your throat—lots of existential shoelaces. And The Bad Lieutenant is a snack-anvil movie that outlines the new coordinates of all the 90s pulp, as well as a biblical reinterpretation of redemption in an action film (one + one + one).

I prefer the later albums; I don't listen to hardcore anymore, or post, noise-core, or jazz-core (which I don't know but I imagine something nice can be done, it sounds good in my head). I'm inconsistent ajeje, I could change my mind about anything at any moment. I find scaruffi ridiculous right now: he preferred to catalog the thing (review it) 5 times more than to experience the thing (actively listen to records).
