Germs (MIA) the complete antology
Voto:
The fact remains that GG Allin musically sucks blood, while the Germs composed true hardcore anthems. LEXICON DEVIL YO YO. Even though the only old school HC band I still listen to is Bad Brains, without beating around the bush: the best. After a while, hardcore reveals its nauseating repetitiveness, and if it isn't softened by other influences (Jazz, Blues, Noise, Avant-Garde), it becomes tedious.

No one matches Cohen. Cohen is the greatest songwriter of all time.

Sure, Deneil is an excellent poet and not a musician. AHAH. Have you ever listened to his first album? He manages to tune intimate melodies and combine them with lyrics that are unparalleled in the history of music. Cohen is simply the greatest singer-songwriter of all time, better than Brassens, Dylan, Van Morrison, Buckley, Cave, Tom Waits, Lisa Germano, Diamanda Galas, and much better than De André. Cohen is a classic.

Sorry Mista, but do you only produce to sell records @_@? "If no one buys anything anymore, no one produces anything anymore"? I don't get it.

Mass insurrection is not necessary in this case. There is no physical backlash like in the past; it will simply suffice not to buy anything anymore, a nice revolution without physicality. You can't give up milk, bread, or food, but you can stop buying DVDs right now. They impose enormous psychological violence on "respect"; you go to the cinema and they talk to you about piracy, but why??? I mean, you go to the cinema, pay 6 euros and 50 cents, you're within the law, and they talk for 2 minutes about illegal acts that have nothing to do with you as a paying viewer and with the film itself. All to shape the weaker personalities on what is right and what is wrong, so that unwary people continue to fuel true illegality: that of selling cultural goods at an obscene price. It's identical with WORK, the jobs that are distinguished as "dignified" and "undignified." Working in a call center for 36 hours a week with a damn headset pressed against your ear and repeating the same little phrase like an idiot automaton until lobotomy, for 500 euros a month: that is dignified. Playing your notes, your songs on the street and maybe earning 1000 euros a month: that is not dignified. This is because in case A) disgusting call center: the market turns, in case B) guitar: no. So, a nice psychological bombardment to create mental defects revolving around the concept of "DIGNITY." Well, fuck off!

Eletto, in the 50s it was also a crime for a woman to show her navel, or it was forbidden to use "vulgar" words within a movie. If everyone had blindly respected the status quo, we would still be dealing with the reactionary, Catholic, and fascist absurdities so dear to post-war Italy (which, in any case, still exist under different forms). Sometimes a mass hysteria, caused by astonishing impositions from above, is truly REGENERATING. When will everyone stop buying and will be completely fed up with 40 euro DVDs? There will be new market conditions due to the collapse. "Free is better, but only if the alternative isn’t stealing." I find that we have been robbed of money, culture, and dignity for years. Phone top-ups? SAME. You pay 20% of NOTHING extra. And the same goes for DVDs and CDs. You pay for nothing so that some fat, ridiculous manager can swim more happily and carefree in a luxurious f***ing pool. And where is the culture in all this? Muddy, in the gas chamber, and overpriced. Reflect, dear Eletto.

Listen, elected one: between the possibility of getting 100 for free and that of getting 10 by paying, which would you choose? What sane person would derive more psychological pleasure from having paid crumbs instead of perpetual free restaurant invitations? You let your brain be distorted by concepts like "respect," and all of this comes at the expense of culture that isn't circulating. The ones who are truly disrespected are us, who have to pay 80% more for every DVD or CD compared to what it COULD cost but DOES NOT.

You're right, downloading it would be a monstrous injustice to the work of Fellini and Pasolini, ohh but they are dead @_@
