Hole Live Through This
Voto:
Infinitely the mainstream, petty, sycophantic, sold-out of the fox core movement. If the L7 were the living reincarnation of Stooges-like uproar, and the Babes in Toyland the most visceral female growl ever heard: Hole were the watered-down and phony riots. The 7 Year Bitch fantastic (at least in Viva Zapata), Bikini Kill great, Lunachicks good. Hole trash.

I could also choose not to respond. Explaining concepts such as the polysemy of words, explaining how a word is never objective but filtered through one’s past experience (If a child A) almost drowned in WATER at 4 years old. And a child B) was happily playing in the WATER with his father; he will have a different subliminal perception of what he reads when encountering the term WATER. And this is where a misunderstanding of common objectivity arises. As, among other things, Baudelaire understood when he spoke of the concept of "Forest of symbols that the human eye mistakenly considers familiar." We navigate through a forest of symbols wrongly believed to be objective. Mother, cradle, bees, sun. They are all terms that trigger some erroneous underlying social understanding, but that in reality, due to the inherently defective nature of language: are defective. As for speaking "seriously" or making others understand Monk's work, I don’t care. I write it for myself, not for you. Best regards.

ODRADEK - AJEJEBRAZORF: When a word with a well-known social connotation is placed between "..." (quotation marks), it takes on a different nuance. Punk is anything that goes against the status quo, the usual way of doing things; the avant-garde has a strong irreverent "punk" attitude. Much more than 99 percent of the genre that has now been absorbed and confined like punk from '77 or '74. Writing Punk or writing "Punk" are two completely different things. In the genres of monk, I wrote "Unclassifiable Singer-Songwriters New Experimental Minimalist American Underground Sounds." And then, of course, according to ODRADEK, I conclude with ALIENATED PUNK in the last line. Words are open to multiple meanings; if I say, "That girl is a hot air balloon," I could mean A) She is fat B) She has her head in the clouds. But you, in your monochromatic blindness, chose the term that pleased you the most and took it for granted. ^^ As for alienated: well, it's time to learn how to read. ^^

ODRADEK "I wonder how you came up with the term minimalist for John Cage." I quote here: "Minimalism certainly had great connections with the American avant-garde and with John Cage - who was the mentor of many composers who later became part of minimalism" (http://italia.allaboutjazz.com/php/article.php?id=55). "Laurie Anderson has always chosen difficult paths. She studied sculpture, but was struck by the minimalism of John Cage" (http://www.musicclub.it/musicclub/jsp/testi/default_one.jsp?id_testo=51429&id_gruppo=3181&ds_gruppo=LAURIE%20ANDERSON). "Paternity of a definition; The antecedents of minimalism: John Cage and his circle; Minimalism and its four main exponents; Some conclusions; Post-minimalism in America and Europe" (http://www.francoangeli.it/ricerca/Scheda_Libro.asp?ID=12630&Tipo=Libro&titolo=Michael+Nyman.+Ascoltare+il+cinema). "With John Cage, we are not yet properly talking about minimalism, even though all the elements that will characterize it can be found in his work" (http://www.renzocresti.it/saggi_9eng.html). On www.allmusic.com, it is defined as "Electronic/Avant-Garde/Minimalist Music." What can I say, perhaps you made a mistake...

Ps: You can find different things on Soulseek and sometimes more easily than on eMule. De gustibus, used in combination, cover almost the entirety of "hard-to-find" works. Baaaiiii baiiiii

Ege always considers records of excellent value and limited availability :) Finally, someone who deviates from the illiteracy that wants to be literate of PuntinicazzPuntini. Great ^^ I'm listening to the record now after such a long time, but I need to have a more articulated idea before giving my opinions... zauuuu

But to get you to put the reviews among the chosen ones, you copy the aesthetic style of Sfasciacarrozze. Buahah. 1. Even though it's a dizzyingly high number for a buffoon like you.

BIG QUESTION ABOUT PRONUNCIATION: do you say CAN (German word unknown to me) or KEN (the verb "to make" in English)? And while we're at it: PERE UBU, what's the correct pronunciation? whoever knows for sure, please answer ^^

Then Peking O, the sixth track from this album, is considered by Negativland and Residents to be the greatest song ever written of all time. It probably ranks in my top 10, a wonder of wonders. A lunatic asylum splattered with random confetti.
