Claudio Baglioni Oltre (Cd1-Cd2)
Voto:
Baglioni has made an album with Paco De Lucia, Tony Levin, Pino Daniele, Gavin Harrison, Danilo Rea, Pino Palladino, and so on, with the blessing of Peter Gabriel at Real World. For me, the album is amazing and I don’t have Baglionite. At least give him the proper respect as a great Italian author who is trying to renew himself and refresh our music scene; otherwise, we would still be stuck with the Pooh, (the height of mediocrity).
The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Voto:
Sgt. Peppers is too important a work to be fed to some idiot who thinks they can find or judge simple songs in it. I won't even linger on explanations that should be obvious. To quote Alberto Basso, (president of the European musicological association, directed by Berio), "The Beatles' work in pop has a tormented life like that of Mozart; as soon as some student knows Schoenberg, they think that's the true path to understanding 'serious' music, only to return years later to discover the work of that 'simple and melodic' Mozart in full maturity." I almost forgot that both Berio and Cage, and then Stockhausen, praised the magnificent compositional structure of Sgt. Peppers, and that seems a far more authoritative judgment than that of some mythomaniac like? (wait, let me check)........Scaruffi. I have nothing against you, but that work cannot be reviewed on an unprotected site.

Congratulations on the fact that there is someone not biased against Ha-A. A little while ago, I wrote a very modest and shy review of "Scoundrel Day," and I’m glad that you further explored the topic by reviewing an excellent album, highlighting the maturity expressed by the band. I say this to many (I believe they are the snobs) – the band remains not underestimated but entirely unknown, at least since "Memorial Beach," but they are truly strong, and I reiterate that Morten has a stellar voice. I believe you'll agree with me; for example, take "Forever Not Yours," which is quite a remarkable performance, even live (listen, by the way, to the double CD released last year). There must be a reason why they sell out in stadiums in London, Stockholm, and Paris. I congratulate you on the review and the risk you take in encountering some pseudo-intellectual in music who will (I repeat) be snobbish. For me, the CD is excellent, but I personally prefer "Minor Earth Major Sky," though that’s just my personal opinion.
Radiohead Kid A
Voto:
Look, I wholeheartedly agree that it's a fundamental job, yet no one seriously explains why. My relationship with Radiohead has always been tumultuous, and with this album, even more so; let me explain, right after "Kid A" came out, I mostly took the trouble to find its weak points (bringing up Kraftwerk or Can), without enjoying what I had in my hands. Now, after a few years, I can calmly and relaxedly enjoy this band, finding, I can hardly say, "OK Computer" to be one of my favorite CDs, and "Kid A" an excellent exercise for the mind as well as therapeutic for the spirit (I allude a bit to the esoteric aspect, should there ever be one), and therefore I find this review not just adequate, but indeed very beautiful and heartfelt.
Ac/Dc High Voltage
Voto:
Thank you, you treated me a bit better than in the previous review. I won't be a great Dante of reviews, quite the opposite..., but I just want to share what I really love to listen to, without being pedantic or full of useless knowledge. I thank you all for considering me, for better or for worse. A new reviewer.
The Who The Who Sell Out
Voto:
Needless to say, I got this album a few days ago; I know the Who, or at least I know the already mentioned "Quadrophenia," "Tommy," "Who's Next," and "Who Are You," which I also think is excellent. Returning to the CD you reviewed, I completely agree; in fact, it almost approaches the genius of "Sgt. Peppers." After all, Townshend is no fool. If it pleases you, I’d like to congratulate you on your insightful observations.
Ac/Dc Let There Be Rock
Voto:
I find the review to be spot on, at least from someone who lives it. I saw AC/DC in Turin a few years ago and thought they were absolutely explosive; Angus is unmatched. The album is a true must-have. Honestly, I prefer "Back In Black," but those are only personal taste preferences that don't undermine their other works at all.
Beatles Beatles For Sale
Voto:
A Beatles album is always a great work, even though I’ve honestly always considered it the weakest of their stratospheric and magnificent discography. Nonetheless, here you can find an absolute novelty in the world of recordings, namely the inclusion of the first track that starts and ends with a fade-out, "Eight Days A Week.ā€ Still, the review is excellent.
