Bettye Lavette I've Got My Own Hell To Raise

Wow, you manage to infuse musical vibes and passion into your words. Congratulations, I envy you. I always come off as cold and a bit anonymous, yet I share the same visceral passion for music; I probably know how to listen better than I know how to write. Again, congratulations.

..........who am I??? I find you in great shape, you should know that the first time I entered this site it was actually because of your review, which I read first. It left me a bit perplexed at first, and then I wondered; either everyone on this site is crazy or "this" one is confused. You're not confused, you're original, and you entertain me with the ironic tone with which you reply to those who don't sit well with you, many of whom don't even understand. I must say that sometimes I get lost reading you, but I vote for you based on trust (and obviously on skill, as I can barely write well in a "normal" way). Best regards.

The review seems a bit lackluster; to me, the album sounded a bit more intense. For the rest, I fully agree with your opinion. I just want to emphasize that unfortunately, two tracks, which are quite nice, are missing from the CD (single), but they were included in the vinyl (double).

Congratulations, along with "Morroccanroll" and "Livestock", the best album by Brand X, there’s also a stratospheric Percy Jones here. A review worthy of a great record, but I don’t agree with you on "Hold On My Heart"; I find the song beautiful and that the album "We Can't Dance" is the most beautiful one since "Genesis". Anyway, well done.

Wonderful review, which is good for classical music, but above all for us.
The Beatles The Magical Mistery Tour

I don't quite share this praise for drugs; their drug was dictated by the chemistry that arose between Lennon and McCartney. The experience of L.S.D. was contextual to the time, but even without it, they would have done what they did.

Great review and great album.

More than experimental (what is there left to experiment after the Beatles), I find it simply ugly. Even trying to grasp the most intellectual angle possible, it neither satisfies my more easy listening side nor my more refined one; it’s just ugly.
Pink Floyd The Wall DVD

The film goes beyond the purely musical aspect; Alan Parker's is a truly exceptional film in every sense.

I don't know the artist in question, but from your review, I gather that I need to make amends immediately. Well done, you've been detailed and piqued my interest.
