...in Harlem? Okay, dumb quote. I wanted to ask the funk, black, or soul enthusiasts gathered here if you've heard the compilation Can You Dig It? released by Soul Jazz?

Look Purpu, I don't understand why, but the Pontiak formula has kind of annoyed me a bit, and Sea Voids doesn't say much to me either. I even brought it in the car with me today to work to see if I could get into it, but for now, my favorite remains the first one. @antmo: wow Antò, did you really miss them? We from the Marche region were about to take the bus! Anyway, regarding the Lips, I regret missing them back in the day during Let It Bloom (or was it before) in Cesena; they played in a barn or something. Anyway, yes, Let It Bloom and the Live are my favorites.

War Sucks is coming to me lukino, and maybe I'll write a couple of lines about it before the end of the year. But who is reviewing Volume I by the Wooden? That one's pretty cool too. I read that you don't like the latest Six Organs, we're officially no longer de-friends! Well, if it makes you feel better, I’m not a big fan of The Oscillation either...

iamasoulman: I of Parliament (sorry for the s left in the review, only the first single was still credited to ParliamentS, I think) I don't have a damn (Afro-American) so I should remake myself, but I'm often too soul for my rock taste. That's why the Funkadelic (the early ones, though) entertain me better, even though One Nation Under a Groove is beautiful, it sounds too funky and less funk to me, I don't know if I can explain myself. Anyway, in this video, the good Bootsy explains a little about how to play funk:

Here you go, Antò! It's funny to think that I wanted to warn you about it and we could have done it together. Well, sorry!

@supercheri: here for the level of nonsense, they really remind me of the Ramones (with the necessary distinctions and proportions). Ah, I forgot to recommend a garage rock album by a Puerto Rican group (I think) released by the beloved In The Red at the end of last year, the DAvila 666. @kosmo: I'm exaggerating, one of the few things I can’t complain about is my hair, I lose a bit, but baldness is still a mirage. However, after 30, the worries increase. On the other hand, I've got a ton of gray hair.

Good evening, scattered answers@purpulan: I thought the same way until, due to a low-price purchase, I started listening to it often. And in the end, I was incredibly won over. I'm not saying they're the best garage band at the moment, far from it, but compared to the previous one, there are more "songs," meaning in the melodic-derivative garage perspective, and let’s say it’s "harmless,ā€ where they now swim, some are killer tracks. I repeat, this realization was almost accidental, but in the end, I listen to it way more than Good Bad (which really was a letdown). However, Purpu, Let it Bloom, and the previous one, much messier and more genuine, I think are valid. For heaven's sake, they aren't the Dirtbombs, but they don’t want to be either.@caz: if you’re referring to me, you know I'm a precocious octogenarian. @gnagnera: strangely, Watch Me Fall had the same effect on me that this had on you. I found it lacking the silly and ultra-melodic tracks from the singles 08 that I reviewed last year. Right now, I really like King Khan, but nothing too shady or too crazy. I have little time on my hands and can’t investigate any further, but I’ll note down the video nasties mentioned by purpulan.

I also found it really disappointing, without any reason at all. The characteristics to appeal to me are there, but for some reason, I haven't felt like listening to it in months. Better the previous one. And what a terrible year for heavy psychedelia.
