I'm glad, Giola. I imagined it, also because we often commented on the same albums.

after the already beautiful Embryonic, they accomplish a true feat, which is to avoid making a predictable tribute to one of the more well-known (and predictable, one might say) Floyds. I still need to digest it, but for now, the intro with the cough from Breathe/Money is pure genius!

Elected Disco Orchite 2009, for heaven's sake, all the elements were there for an awesome album, the problem is the extreme length combined with the typical stretching of ideas over exaggerated durations. I think I’ve managed to listen to it all the way through at most three times. I won't vote for it because maybe when I'm old and gray (truth is, I’m already gray) and will only have to take care of the grandkids, it might become the album of my life (that little bit of life left).

You know you're going hard on the psychedelic drugs, but the wrong ones, like trichloroethylene, or at best some downer, like Quaalude. Am I wrong?

I bid you goodnight with this even more "sober" video just two years after the aforementioned live: Two details to note: 1) the McLusky were right, it seems they were taking drugs (of any kind) through skin osmosis while on tour 2) Notice the guy's package with the white underwear right at the beginning as soon as they come out of the underpass...it's enough to give you inferiority complexes for two generations.

I don't think it's just me, I believe Fest was referring to the ones from the '80s too, right Fest?

Madonna, we have a psychic connection! Just yesterday I was telling my brother-in-law, a former hardcore fan, about the album reviewed on deb by Union Carbide Production! What a blast.

So I'm thinking of giving this album a listen too, because I've heard from multiple sources that it’s not as bad as it was portrayed. But it’s unfortunate to say, Moon Safari and Virgin Suicide are on another planet, 10000hz legend has its nice moments, but the atmospheres are very different.

beautiful odra and good to see you in writing form. The first paragraph, don't ask me why, made me think back to White Noise by Don DeLillo (which, by the way, I never finished).
