One of the few reasons why it’s nice to have sight, apart from the asses and tits of women. To enjoy everything else, all you need is a good amplifier of metaphors.

Gabri is back to writing, an event! The equation of a crappy period combined with great music doesn't really work for me either. Even in 2010, I don't have much to tear my hair out about. And unfortunately, shoegaze—founding fathers aside—bores me to death. It's becoming like stoner rock at the end of the '90s, a sterile reproduction of a canon that's already been formalized. But maybe it's just my impression, for heaven's sake.

I’ve been stuck halfway through Italia de Profundis for a couple of years now; its prose makes me somewhat angry, as I perceive both its genius and its contemporary pretentiousness. It definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. As for kosmo, I've come across it several times, but for now I’m giving up.

To me, it seems like this is the only way to talk about the good HP, who has always been idolized inappropriately by his hardcore fans. Yes, because unfortunately, they are often zealots whose peak of literature is the same HP or The Sword of Shannara. I reread this and The Strange Case of Charles Dexter Ward and At the Mountains of Madness almost every year, more or less since '90. The game that Hetzer mentions starts in Innsmouth and ends with cannon fire at Dagon from a fishing boat. When I was in New England, I had to visit a client who owned a restaurant in Narragansett, and I could already picture a suitably fishy welcome, only to be brought back to reality by the Bostonians who told me it was a trendy and chic island, in short, the opposite of what I wanted, so I pretended to be unwell and stayed in the hotel. If my daughter had been born a boy, he would have had the honor of being named one of the following: "Shining Trapezohedron," "Eye-Burning-With-Three-Bulbs," "Proto-Shoggoth," "Astaroth."

Well, I think I've figured out who your friend on the left is, 99 out of 100. Nice review!

What the hell, Alerussian, are you the one on the left in the photo? Do you happen to hang out on the Mucchio forum?? I would have liked to see them, but now seeing a concert is becoming impossible...

What nostalgia! The first Floyd listened to along with the collection of the first two A Nice Pair (do you remember the cover?). Like all the stuff from the early period, a solid 5.

I just realized that for at least two months I've unexpectedly marked the debasio notification emails as spam in my inbox, so Lewis sorry for the communication breakdown! The BBC4 documentary is fantastic, I would love to put it on disk damn it.

They're reissuing it on vinyl at the end of November, so I'll have to buy it again (especially because it's even more amazing than before).

one of the few 60's nuggets that I think is dispensable. I bought it a while ago, but I still can't understand why people tear their hair out over it. Nice review even just for the choice.
