Damn, those busoni came to Fondamenta nuove! I wish I had gone too... probably half the people I know were there. Anyway, I envy you and I agree that the Teatro is bigger than it seems from the outside. I saw Merzbow (Japanoise) and another Austrian guy there at the end of last October. Were you there too, Brandon?

So Fallen, I'm sorry, but I looked at the site and it reminded me of an issue of the almanac of mysteries by Martin Mystère that I must have in Italy, which said the exact same things. I also checked the Fanucci book in the bookstore, but that also smelled like a blatant commercial move to me. Now, one can believe it or not, but the problem is that it's a bit reckless these days to trust the internet as a reliable source of such news... internet is, first and foremost, a nice gathering place for mythomaniacs, don't forget. Bye.

For Cliff: At the Mountains of Madness is very beautiful (one of the few I've reread a year ago) but my favorite remains "The Strange Case of Dr. Charles Dexter Ward," which you can find at used book stalls in the mille lire edition from Newton&Compton.

Sorry to interrupt, but I was a fan of Lovecraft in my adolescence, and from the minimal research I did back then, it seems to me that the Necronomicon was invented by the good Philip, to provide a pseudo-historical and archaeological background to his splendid (some) dark tales. Abdhul Alhazred never existed. Maybe I’ll ask a friend of mine who studies Persian antiquities.

Let me give you some more information: the record label moshi moshi is the equivalent of the Italian "pronto" when answering the phone. Oh, how cool it is to use random words as long as they sound strange... obviously, the other side of the coin is even worse here in Japan, where you find Italian restaurants named "buco di muro" or "ospitalità porca donna!" Bye!

What the hell is going on with the violin and the flint? Usually, it’s around the end of July, right? Let me know because I'm heading back to the Marche in July, and I’d like to swing by at this point. Bye.

Dude, I’ve put the samples of Outrageous Cherry. They’re not the best because they’re 30 fucking seconds, but at least you get a little idea of the album. Bye.

Bought today used for 4 euros! I must say it’s truly remarkable, the perfect soundtrack for the Tokyo subway. Nice rec!

I wanted to listen to this album, but it seems like it's not for me... however, if it's linked to Venice, I'm curious; I lived there for a good 7 years and I go back often. I had a friend who sampled the sounds of the lagoon. At night, it's a whole different experience... in winter, the fog... ah, so many memories! Beautiful record as always.

Beautiful Sapio! However, I saw the BRMC twice and they convinced me little both times. One curiosity: did they ask for encores? I only saw one concert in London (the only time I've been there), which was the Beastie Boys, and after an hour and twenty of the concert, there were three Italians shouting for encores while the rest was already ready to take the subway. I can’t tell you how much that pissed me off! I hope it was different for you. Anyway, concerts abroad are something else, right?
