I'm sorry, but there’s a huge difference between someone like Leighton (rightly considered an icon of 80's garage) and Ikara (no matter how valid they are)! And this is a piece of musical history from the lesser-known 60's. Now, with all due respect, comparing them is like saying that Interpol or Franz Ferdinand are better than Television or Talking Heads... and we all know that's not the case, even just from an age perspective.

Great kosmo, now I’m going to listen to it again and after the Independent I felt like hearing them again. The recording is a bit long but very ā€œfullā€ and the opening is brilliant. Hi and get well from the illness.

Charles, I don't think you'll find it easily... anyway, it costs 12 euros. You're right, Hal, I'm a bit psychocentric; maybe I'm going insane...

I place myself in the middle. I haven't heard the album but I hate English magazines. However, I can say that the Keane should be beaten with a box of Dixan full of Lego. Hi, and I like how you tear apart easy.

Nick, you’re always the best. I was talking to magomarcelo at a de-meeting of the recs of maledetta primavera and we missed you. How long are you staying in Albion? I think I might drop by those expensive lands around next April or so. If I do, I’ll give you a shout. Bye!

As you know, hummy, I don't agree. But I want to be a little more open-minded about them... I listened to the album and it wasn't as bad as I expected. However, there are definitely new people with many more ideas than these (even if they can't be compared, the Coral come to mind among the more mainstream ones), and they certainly won't save anything because, like many other bands (including the aforementioned Coral), they don't bring anything new to the table. We're always moving within an old format, which doesn’t mean it's not enjoyable, but it is, by nature, detached from innovation. Bye.

Alright, I didn't want to be such a jerk... let's say it's a bit too detailed and doesn't explain much... maybe next time.

It looks like a shopping list... we're missing eggs, can you get them for me?

I’m sorry, but the review was done too late and lacks cohesion. Plus, it doesn't flow well precisely because it was written in bits… blame the heat! Anyway, the album doesn’t capture the monstrous energy that this ex-drug addict has live; I was actually scared. Also, in May 2003, it was even free. Anyway, he doesn’t speak a word of Japanese; he told me that his family moved from Hawaii to Los Angeles right away… funny coincidence, his Morlocks often had the Red Hot as their opening act! Anyway, Kosmo, the length was warranted this time, sorry, and besides, this will remain the ONLY new release to which I’ll give a 5 because there’s obviously very little new. Enjoy the samples.
