the second kosmo cd is basically dance… try to play yeah (the first version) and even the middle school party will turn into a rave. Anyway, I’m a bit tired of it already too, but I keep it for certain more relaxed moments. BArry I’ll note that down for the 4th!!! Anyway, I’ll be in Milan as I told josi for mars volta on the 6th, and I think I’ll stay over the weekend + Monday, maybe we can meet up.
Slint Spiderland
Voto:
From today, tweez and spiderland are on special price 10 euros... I won't add anything else except that they would be the seventh and eighth album bought in 15 days. Screw the money and unemployment. Anyway, I booked my ticket for Bologna, I'll be there.

When I was 13, I was listening to Run DMC and De La Soul, then Queen and Mano Negra—I was basically all over the place! Congrats, Antonino, but I wouldn't be surprised by the writing; the new generations catch up to us quickly. I feel old even though I'm not yet thirty... sob!
Faith no More King For A Day... Fool For A Lifetime

together with Angel, my favorite, I feel a passionate connection to both of them; unfortunately, I lost them in '92 and '96, just the right time to make them melt.

There are many diverse precursors to hard rock. Let's say that this is the evident manifesto of a sound evolution that wasn't only driven by the Zep, and that certainly had its germs within the good Page, who had already been active since the mid-'60s in England. Definitely, the most solid and uniform album by the Zep, with a mandatory mention for "Lemon Song" among my favorites.

I agree with Benzo: Jugband is really sad: "It's awfully considerate of you to think of me here, And I'm almost obliged to you for making it clear, that I'm not here"....so long Syd.

I consider myself fucking stateless, what's wrong with that, my friend Mauro? Being stateless on a legal level, as you know, is quite a hassle. Instead, we should really strive to consider ourselves mentally stateless, simply because the very concept of national identity has no real basis; it’s a way to exert control over the masses. I am Italian because it’s written on a document, period. I don’t see myself a certain way just because I am "Italian," so I should know how to make pizza, I try to screw you before you screw me, I’m a spaghetti eater, and so on. And above all, madonna p&%$£°a THIS IS NOT MY HOMELAND!!! They need to stop posting ads like the one from A.N., where they shamelessly admit their fascist reminiscences using the very word homeland, a term so dear to those in need of a sense of group... and a key word in all dictatorships (and I mean all, Mauro), right and left included.
Jimmy Chamberlin Complex Life Begins Again
Voto:
Good Chamberlin was one of my favorite drummers during my adolescence, and live he was a steamroller. But this solo stuff doesn't convince me, maybe download. Nice concise and functional the rec.

It's not that I went by intuition, Antonino; I literally quote the recording dates of the songs with the band members from Manuali Rock Arcana Editrice "Pink Floyd" edited by Luca Ferrari, 1985: "Remember A Day: 10/24/1967 (at Chelsea Studios with Barrett). 5/9/1968 (4 rehearsals with Gilmour): the released version is the first with Barrett on lead guitar."
Of course, I'm relying on what I've read; they might have written nonsense. Unfortunately, I don't have the Pink Floyd bible; we would need to look at magazines like "Raro" and similar stuff. Anyway, it is what it is, and I personally think you can hear the whiny tone and the not-so-Gilmour sound in "Remember A Day."
Pink Floyd A Saucerful Of Secrets
Voto:
I didn't like it Antonino sorry, maybe it's because I was writing it, maybe it's envy then. No, I'm obviously joking, but it's a bit too formal, let's say, this album is almost on par with the first in terms of quality. What can I say, just downloaded Syd, these four come up with remarkable insights, and Waters starts writing pieces timidly, as he says, because he thought he wouldn't measure up. And what does he come up with? Set the controls... these f***s! Anyway, the guitar on Remember a Day is played by Syd and you can tell. The rest of the album, apart from Jugband, is obviously played by Gilmour. The weak song is only See-Saw, the rest is fantastic, even the extremely challenging title track included.
