No giubbo no hits is the best song on the album in my opinion, kraut to the core. As for easycure: I’ve also reviewed Dead Meadow if I’m not mistaken and I picked up their new one yesterday which seems remarkable, although less gloomy. Unfortunately, they are on tour but with those pricks, Trail of Dead, so I’m skipping it.

I was also at Pollack, I just got back from Milan yesterday... and I was about to do the rec. damn!!! Anyway, I would have given them a 3/5 because even if they are MONSTERS in every way (technically and aesthetically - I mean, does Cedric really think he looks good with that wig? I hope not, because he's mistaken -); a shoutout to the drummer who holds everything together, practically everything revolves around him. But I admit that by the end I was exhausted, not in a super positive way, let's say I was fed up. The album grabs me pretty well, but live the suites risk getting boring, I would have opted for a more compact live set. Anyway, anyone who saw the concert and is a musician must have come in their pants countless times. Small off note: but do you think the acoustics were decent? For me, not really, I mean it was all very muddled, I could barely hear the keyboard, for example, it came and went. Bye.

black mountain rec is in production. I got them together with these midnight movies. I miss the Pink Mountaintops... maybe I'll get them this afternoon in Bologna. Anyway, maybe I like the black mountain even more than the comets, who in my opinion have a shitty recording. But the Black mountain sound like many bands... the third Druganaut has the exact same drum beat as halleluwah by Can. My favorite is no hits with the electronic beat and set us free.

second day of listening...sour notes: L'via L'viaquez (aside from the redundant title) almost gets on my nerves. How is it possible to include those breaks like the current Santana (missing only the Corazon Espinado and a ham piada) or the guitar sound of 80s Aerosmith (and I wanted to be muuuuch meaner)...generally, the recording and the guitars often send chills down my spine. Positive notes: Miranda and Cassandra Gemini are really solid and justify the album. Nice ambient drone-like bass breaks repeated for minutes. In conclusion, I would say that it could have been 20-25 minutes shorter and it would have been less disorganized and a bit more focused.
