bogus I always like you +, not because we agree, but because I’ve already figured out what sound you like…sorry, but I’ve been busy lately, and for now I can’t send you CDs, let’s do it like in a month or at the end of summer?

Honestly, from here on they don’t tell me anything anymore, I adored the three EPs, Monolit was the soundtrack to my smoke sessions. This album isn’t as bad as the second one, which, aside from two tracks, remains one of the least enjoyable works I own (not because it's challenging, but simply because it's uninspired and perhaps even bad). And then it seems to me that the single from Hot Shots II sampled the bassline from Music Box (I believe that’s what it’s called) by Portishead.

I would say it’s a very useless review, especially for the stereotypes about Japanese women and the usual nonsense about kamikazes. However, I have a question: who is Kuma? I worked for a Japanese artist who goes by the name Kuma (bear), are you referring to him? For the record, the title refers to the song of the devil.

Yes Pollack, a bit more info wouldn't hurt, but anyway the album and they are so great that they make me feel better. Anyway, in my opinion, Cale's production on this album makes them sound less violent than they were in terms of sound. Also, I don't like the viola piece at all. As for sounds, Funhouse is definitely much better, aiuonnabiiordog nofan and 1969 excluded.
John Campbell One Believer

Finally, dear Kosmo, I have in my hands a record from the great Campbell, not this one but Howlin' Mercy, which I found used... What can I say, one of the most raw and cavernous voices I've ever heard, it makes Tom Waits and Captain Beefheart pale... maybe someone will insult me, but the other night I played a track and soon the subwoofer at the bar where I was DJing almost exploded... damn, a voice with such deep bass makes me want to sample it, put it on loop, and make a house track to sell. Gurgling.

Deep Purple Made In Japan

Well, Nowitzky, I know Deep Purple very well, and even at 17, the solo in "The Mule" was already annoying to me; the rest was incredible, but not "The Mule." I’d be curious to listen to this album again after 12 years; I wonder how it would affect me. And anyway, rock is absolutely not just Deep Purple, but that’s pretty obvious by now.
The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

What Scaruffi writes is debatable in my opinion, and above all it seems to me to be utter nonsense from a flower child post that wants to be a know-it-all and therefore must have an alternative point of view, especially on the sacred monsters. I don’t consider myself an extreme Beatles fan, but denying their musical and socio-cultural impact at the time is being stupid as well as blind (and maybe a bit revisionist too). My favorite remains "Revolver," but I don’t mind this one either. And then, damn, "A Day in the Life" would be enough. Yes, I mean, attacking the Beatles a priori makes me smile; just think that if it weren't for them or the Kinks, no one in America would have started playing garage, that the Velvet themselves borrowed from the Beatles, and the examples go on as desired. Saying they were the best for sure is nonsense, but you can't deny that what they did, they always did a bit before their contemporary peers, whether due to talent or media fortune. Also that stupid question about psychedelia... who invented it first and similar nonsense. I'm not interested because their psychedelia will anyway be different from the American one. Bye.

HORRIBLE record that fortunately I heard properly in a store... lucky that hearing it again was even worse. Terrible, and good job to our trusted Sardinian for self-sabotaging.
