Oh my God, how can you actually respond to him? He thinks like I did when I was 15. Belittling what one doesn't know and, above all, doesn't want to know—I did that too, but I realized that in the musical realm, and even more broadly, it's quite a childish operation. If you think that people on this site don't know XTC, you clearly haven't figured things out. And let's not act hierarchical where I’m older, I understand more = I’m right. Because when it comes to music, reason is nowhere to be found. I don’t consider myself open-minded musically; in fact, I’m nearly obtuse, and even if most of the '80s music makes me sick, I have to admit that there was a lot of little-known stuff that was worth listening to—so I made an effort. An effort I don’t think you’ll make for '90s music, for example, but of course, you’ll do what you think is right. But condemning without knowing is wrong, because from your reactions, it seems you don't know many of the groups mentioned by Antimo (and mind you, we know almost all of them here). PS: How would music New Age be? I can’t stand banalities steeped in false Eastern mysticism when talking about New Age in a philosophical context (that word doesn’t really go with New Age, sorry). If you feel like it, enlighten me.

Well, I almost always skip splash #1; I just can't stand it, but I already like don't fall down a lot more... I wonder who’s telling the truth? What do you think about the second one, guevo? I think slip inside this house was by hall, or am I completely mistaken?

I think this is more psychedelic than the rest, and not very R&B compared to the previous one. Here, no canonical blues at all, and then there's an underrated track like you got me floatin' that drives me crazy.

It makes me break out in hives; the only thing worse is Maximo Park. But I have to say I was hopeful after reading the reviews. By the way, there are already 2 reviews of this album... can't we change it?

I'm just payin' the dues and I'm feelin' like crap, you know, it sucks. The problem is that live they seem ten times better, and I missed them in Padua two weeks ago, damn it!!

Compared to "Stairway," it's not an epochal song, and even compared to the rest of Spirit's discography, you choose which.

I'm closing my part too, since I didn’t feel offended by Scaruffi's theses and I'm not a fervent fan of the Beatles. It's just that Scaruffi's analytical methods made me laugh, which is why I thought it was worth pointing out. For a while, I also denied the role of the Beatles, but over time I realized that, regardless of their talent, whether they invented or didn’t invent, they were important for the evolution and the legitimization of certain music to the masses, with its pros and cons, of course. Many other groups did it too, maybe even better, but at the time, they had the media relevance to stand out. Anyway, discussion over. But excuse me, my bloody, what would be the absurd answers? And why should we be deaf and obtuse? Why don’t we just align ourselves with the pro-Saruffi chorus? Look, the world won't end for me if I know that "Yesterday" is copied from a jazz piece from the '40s as you write. So the arpeggio of "Stairway to Heaven" is copied from "Taurus" by Spirit. But "Taurus," compared to Spirit, is a little tune. What does all this tell you?
