In fact, I wouldn't want to convince anybody to buy it. It's a nice record and nothing more, and given its length and the uselessness of the artwork, it's easy to download. Let's say it still brings me some joy, or rather, it made for some nice little trips in the car with my "partner".... In fact, I would have preferred if they included the review from the USA among the recommended ones.

Mmmhhh, I’d say I know him very little, or almost not at all, but for a while now I've been wanting to get a little something registered. I really like the rec, well done. The character Devendra (regardless of the image imposed on him - whether it's true or not, I don’t know - by the newspapers) just seeing him makes me want to curse the Beat Generation, and especially the effects it unintentionally had on the less intelligent American youth... what a drag, this myth of India and the supposed knowledge about Buddhism, often reduced to Cliff Notes wisdom... whatever, I’m rambling. Anyway, his hippie-posting often gets on my nerves, even if it's just a regurgitation of his image, not of his person... but someone who sings and was with one of those two monsters from CocoRosie really can’t see or hear well...

Kosmo, you really like these a lot. Live, they were super loud, Byrd liked the sound of Blue Cheer... and when he and Moskowitz moved to L.A. (he won a master's at UCLA), they lived in the same building as Morrison and the Airplane. Even though they knew little or nothing about rock music, let's say they could have started with worse characters, right? Ah Rocky, sooner or later I have to record it for you, the night I got the original you were with me in Bologna, remember? Anyway, a remastered edition from Sundazed has come out with bonus tracks (pretty useless) but a nice booklet that explains a bit of the band's story.

Damn, check out this review from Pitchfork, saying they tore it apart is an understatement!

I liked it a lot right away, but I agree with Sylvian Deserter—it's better. Anyway, it's valid. I really enjoy Car Wash hair from the beginnings, it's awesome! I like the rec a lot.

I also, like Hal, saw it on TV... I'm sorry, but they were too far away for me. I would have liked to see them, but really, especially since I had never even heard of them, let alone in Japan. Ah Hal, did you know that one of the biggest scholars and continuators of the tradition of the Sardinian language is a Japanese professor who teaches in Tokyo? This crazy guy wandered around Barbagia in the mid-'60s and stayed there for years.

Look, Sylvian, I won't say anything more about Scaruffi because otherwise it seems like I live to criticize him. In my opinion, his presumption of omnipotence is so evident that if someone doesn’t get it, the problem is theirs, not mine. Regarding the reviews, I can tell you that often Italian magazine reviewers don’t really listen to the records; for example, Cerati for Rumore (according to a friend of mine who knows him) often reviews albums by instinct...and let's face it, if your label pays a lot of money to a magazine to promote a group, often a new one, it’s clear that when it comes time to review the album, it won’t be panned regardless of the album's actual or supposed qualities. Example: Offlaga Disco Pax, pretty useless, featured on the front page of Rumore...but how much money did they cough up?

Just yesterday on the road to abamae in the province of Isernia, I stopped for a nice meal on the grass, but given the rainy day, my friend the sad skinhead and I went to his glowing girlfriend's place. But since the mom was sad, we took refuge in the days to come....(continues in the same review)....

thank you guys, I published it anyway but I made it for a fanzine so I apologize for the excessive length. To dboon: good job mentioning the west coast pop art experimental band, one of the groups I discovered a little more than a year ago and that are gaining traction over time....I’m interested in the music emporium, shall we share them? Now I'll put the samples. Oh damn, nani, the rating is wrong, it should be 4.5 but I wanted to give 5/5. Se puede corregger?

Damn Charles, you're right, your rec totally went over my head, I'm covering my head in ashes... what to say Kosmo, I know little about the B-52's, so I don't know if they resemble them... anyway, in the end, there’s not even that much from Violent Femmes on the album. Still, it's worth a download and even the purchase is around 15 euros less. Samples olé!
