I've been waiting for ages for the 25-track remaster, but so far it's in vain, maybe at Christmas. I only have a downloaded version that's not of good quality.

I'm reading now because I wrote a review for a local magazine... I have to say that this little disc gives me a lot of silly joy, nothing new per se, but nice and fresh.

How did it go with the sun dial vecio? Honestly, I don’t think the may blitz are monstrous. There’s not much of a gap between the first and 2nd of May. Let's say the first has a more homogeneous atmosphere, while the second has more ups and downs but some tracks are better. You might have noticed that the last piece has an intro with the sea that is very similar to heavy sea by the heads.

I'm sorry, but the record is a bit robotic, repeating "if you like zombies and kinks" twice.... the album is a small gem of minor psychedelic pop, alongside sf sorrow, dantalian's chariot, and other obscure bands. Revolution 9 is truly a standout piece; I play it often to test people's reactions.

saw them in concert last year and definitely indigestible for me, but nice the t-shirts with the band's logo

Unfortunately, I have to admit that the single "ruffiano" gets me... a big show-off as usual but nothing more, and by now he has the ass of Carrà.

The Kinks, along with the early Beatles, were the ones who sparked the garage movement in America around '65. You do the math. Anyway, those who were inspired by them often surpassed them; just look at the whole myriad of bands featured in Nuggets I & II, which I highly recommend. If you want something even more raw, dive into the Back From The Grave compilations (7 volumes) and Pebbles (even 12 volumes, I believe!). Have fun!

And who has ever claimed to be sensible and consistent? And it's been a year since I last commented on this album, but who says I don't still like it and that I don't listen to it anymore? Moreover, my referring to the album's length was due to my initial skepticism, which had already faded by the time of the review. I actually agree that short albums are usually the best. However, dear, calling the work of The Shins "absolutely new" seems decidedly excessive if not out of place. Anyway, to each their own, obviously, anyone can find something new wherever they want.

beautiful beautiful beautiful, the most dated album by the Motor, but waiting for the one, nothing to say and especially plan#1 and all is loneliness open a crack in my heart with every listen. "i will be there tomorrow morning, but you said that yesterday as well. i bet i'll see you here on summer, waiting for the one that went away....."
