a musical and aesthetic copy of the Stones, honestly there are better things but to each their own.... I also liked it at first then I realized they were playing the same things all day long.

Good job, Filini. Already in '97, he dedicated that song to the public, telling them to let him and the band get fucked. From that moment on, I decided I couldn't stand him. Then, through various means, I found him at my feet in Ancona countless times, either playing or just visiting the bassist of Massimo Volume, and the approach was always that of an artist with a bit of an attitude.

I don't understand what you mean, Geza... why do you think that religion serves some other purpose? Let's say that, even at 24, he had already stated half a truth, which today sounds disturbingly prophetic. Sure, the way he presents his idea of religion feels very teenage angst, but fundamentally, he's got a point.

I felt it Saturday from outside (no way I was giving away 13 euros, Manuel was acting tough for no reason even ten years ago, he won't see my money again). I was told he had a serious confrontation with someone in the audience, even threatening to throw punches. This thing makes me reflect a bit. I mean, Agnelli really gets on my nerves and he deserves a couple of open-hand slaps, but I don't understand why fans of Afterhours get angry because they returned to singing in English, rightly translating the album for the foreign market. Of course, it’s a bit funny to sing the Italian songs that everyone knows in English. It’s definitely snobby, but I expect this and more from Agnelli. However, from a certain point of view, even the fan who fights for reasons of aesthetic-musical coherence comes off as very alternative snob... sorry, maybe I'm rambling but I ate a big meal...

just to quote......"Well, I never really understood religions,
Except it seems a good reason to kill.
Everybody's got their own conceptions,
And you know, they always will.
These days are needles under my skin.
Jesus shootin' heroin."

oh finally someone who talks about this record. I must say that among the first three (and the first EP) I don't know which one I prefer. Of the first ones, this is the most melodic, although if you think about it, Godzilla Flick, She Is Death (which ridiculously reminds me of Julia Dream by Floyd after Barrett) and Jesus Shootin' Heroin are all definitely unpolitically correct songs, besides being beautiful. Telepathic is also full of great stuff. Honestly, I can't choose any of these three.

Dear Trell, I've decided that they are indeed valid... every time I wear them at some listening event, they don’t go unnoticed, which is a good thing considering the massive amount of the same stuff that's been circulating in players lately.
