a record that marked my adolescence, once one of my favorite albums. now I don't know how it would make me feel to listen to it again.

Damn, man, you're right, I confuse it with the last one, which is trash. But you understand that it doesn't entice me to listen.

Now I have to go work, you idiot, so I haven't read the reviews. But unfortunately, I've heard the band. Unfortunately because they really made me feel bad; the singing first and foremost sounds like pompous hard rock à la Glover post Deep Purple. Some instrumental pieces aren't bad but they'll have a very short life on my hard drive. RIP.

The coolest thing about the interview I mentioned above is when they describe a Fugs concert, where one of them, due to too much acid, spent an hour and a half pretending to be Paul McCartney and played about 30 Beatles songs from All My Loving to Sgt. Pepper. Then they talk about how the drummer of Blue Cheer would scream and hurl heavy insults at the other two, shouting for an hour that if they didn’t turn down the volume he would walk out.

I'm in, obviously. The idea is interesting; I had it in mind split into two for two consecutive recs of the two boxes of nuggets. But someone has already done a rec for the first, so I abstained. Let us know.

Lewis, you’re near Turin, right? I got them for 9.90 at FNAC in Turin. If you can, get the originals. I've had the Josefus for a while, bought them on Amazon, Rocky. What can I say, not bad but these are definitely way more powerful. The Josefus are more traditional blues in certain tracks. But the singer really rocked it, nicely raspy and pissed off.

I think I only have contact, but I must say I felt little and that little I couldn't understand. In other words, I cannot express a sound judgment. There’s no doubt they were ahead. If you go to this link of the webzine terrascope, there’s a nice interview where they also talk about a concert with Blue Cheer in which people literally ran away due to the outrageous amount of decibels regurgitated www.terrascope.org

Thank you for the compliments, but you’re not obligated to review it; in fact, I discourage you from doing so. Not because my review is anything special, but simply because one review per album is enough. OK? I mean, there are millions of other albums that deserve attention and haven’t been reviewed. Choose from those, and welcome. Please avoid duplicates if you can.
