I'll respond to you after finishing work, Enea, also because my idea was ironic, but thinking back I inadvertently made a bit of a stereotypical cultural classism joke, since I also see no difference between high and low culture; in fact, they don't really exist at all. Anyway, when it comes to punk HC and Beatles emulators, I wasn't passing any judgment... I was just pointing out that every field of knowledge has its own specific terminology and characteristics. Of course, there are mutual contaminations between fields; my point is a general one and maybe a bit of a generalization. Well, I’ll explain myself better later, but thank you for noticing it too, dear Enea.

the only valid one...frances has driven me crazy and the latest is turning out to be one of the worst albums of the year.

Damn lemur, I was there too, at 17. My sister got Eddie on the head while she was stage diving... she was very happy about it.

turbocazzone, are you back from vacation? Got the comets? Heard that the final mix is different in many places? Nice rec of the dmz, I have a couple of very funhouse tracks and I think I’ll download it from the HD now… oh shit you’ve disconnected. ola

well, I don't consider myself a know-it-all from the '60s, but don't worry, if I criticize it's because I know; I usually don't speak without musical grounding. Of course, if you like the Magoos, it bothers you that I write that they suck. Where is it written that they have to be liked by force? As for my response, it wasn't angry or arrogant, I was just asking what I should have re-read from the review. I mean, if you say I need to re-read it, it means there were grammatical errors and repetitions. If you point them out, I’m happy, I’m not offended. And anyway, since you don’t authenticate yourself, you’re the first to stigmatize and you haven’t been here long, maybe you should lower that arrogance, don’t you think? As for age, I could be younger...

Damn, you list almost all the tracks and you don’t mention that masterpiece Lather?? Are we crazy??? Jokes aside, I’ve had a fluctuating relationship with the Jeffersons, especially with this album. At first, when I heard it years ago (Lather aside), it felt like brick rock, it smelled old and musty. Then, getting used to it, I bought it and I must say that along with After Bathing it remains my favorite, even compared to the much-praised Surrealistic Pillow.

wasa wasa I like, the rest a little less. good at highlighting the Beefheartian voice. however, for example, from that era I still prefer the Groundhogs.

I couldn't bring myself to like it, and I was a bit sorry about that. I had been waiting for a concept about the pig god for a long time.

sorry? what should I re-read? anyway, it was the second rec I was doing so it could have gone worse... I also don’t know if the first of the blues or this one were the first to use the term or not. back then I was almost ignorant about the blues so I chose the 13th. and the blues, aside from a few rare tracks, suck.

nice that one about the dwarf.... at the time, all the people I knew in the black scene were full of these unlikely anecdotes. like that Mortiis had gotten his ears surgically altered to look like an elf....
