Damn, two stolen reviews in one day. I've been wanting to do this for a while....what can I say, for me it's a 3.5, let's say it becomes a more digestible version of the Sunn O))). Then, I have to honestly say that the pseudo ambient moments praised by American magazines feel to me a bit like discovering hot water. But there’s definitely worse out there.

I think they arrived late not so much due to congenital cultural delays, but because of the presence of a man: Franco. The dictatorship ended in '76, and from what my Spanish friends tell me, the years in question were a mild version of the previous dictatorship, but I don't think they organized festivals like Parco Lambro every day. The cover is one of the three ugliest in history. However, never judge a book by its cover, even if the prog that's too intertwined with jazz makes me cringe. We shall see.

Lewis, I'll have to take out a lease to get all the things you write about.....for you it's a de-year, for Kosmo we're at three, am I wrong? Soon my de-third birthday will arrive too. Time flies!

For the fans, I found a live performance on Letterman by the Screaming Trees doing "Nearly Lost You": enjoy!

ajeje I didn't write it, but it's obvious and consequential that the hippies were (in)formed by beat thought and thus new age, which then gained massive media momentum thanks to the flower-power movements, whether they wanted it or not. Some of these demands are shareable, but some (I would say many) are laughable for their naivety. But if they hadn’t existed, we would miss them, I think.

I’m sorry if I’m interrupting, friends. Far be it from me to get involved in the debate, since I know little about tangerine and nothing about new age, I just wanted to say that the problem with new age isn’t the music inspired by it, but the whole pseudo philosophy of new age. The things I remember reading were the usual mishmash (which they call religious syncretism... come on!) of Eastern theories applied to a bean for the stress of the so-called "Western" man. Plus, it has produced various monsters, see all the American pandimensional beliefs, and various nonsense. Maybe I should invent the religion of the flip-flop and go around proselytizing (and making money). Damn, it would have been better if Kerouac and friends had taken an interest in Africa, in candomblé and voodoo, so they could leave Asia alone. Asia produces monsters in the Western imagination, but it doesn’t sleep the sleep of reason. Well, it’s late and I’ve been translating for too many hours. Could someone please translate my intervention?

Henry, don’t worry, I still need to fully grasp it, Cauldron. Is the ring oscillator of the United States of America considered a primitive electronic gadget? I never understood it.

@enry: the reissue contains alternative takes and three tracks that I believe are from the BBC or Peel sessions (I need to check, I have it at home), but I can't tell you if it was stuff already included in the Wumme Years.@Lewis: I went to bed last night with Malesch, obviously in headphones. I still need to listen to it properly even though I've had it since April... damn too many downloads. I also found a video of Agitation Free on a psychedelic forum but they removed it, those bastards.
