Damn, I've never heard them live. But save this link: www.wolfgangsvault.com
Check out the streaming concerts you can listen to from this guy. Basically everything that happened in San Francisco from '65 to '70 and beyond. From old bluesmen to prog bands. Remarkable.

Fuck, Lewis, I’ve been meaning to do this for years. Pushin' Too Hard is one of my definitive garage tracks; believe it or not, I found it on 45 in Tokyo and didn’t buy it! I won’t mention the price, otherwise, I'll get bombarded with insults. The only issue is the common one with almost all garage records: there’s no album without fillers. Sure, this one and, for example, No Way Out by The Chocolate Watchband might hold up, but still not all the way to the end. I have the double edition with the first and second albums, but it’s a weird thing from the early '90s, late '80s with this cover here. Side note: I downloaded the cult '60s film Psych-Out where (besides Jack Nicholson as a freak playing guitar in a band) Saxon & Co. actually perform at a hippy funeral. Along with Strawberry Alarm Clock and a few others.

Sorry for the comment above; it had a bit of a professor tone, and that wasn’t my intention. It's clear that you didn’t make a mistake when you contextualized the opinion as personal. I also find the English symphonic evolutions somewhat annoying, but the greatness of piper overshadows red crayola, 13 th and the gang (aside from the VU). Perhaps just to narrow it down: it's as experimental as it is enjoyable, and managing to combine the two is a rarity these days.

maybe half of the groups on the planet could boast "Beatles-esque trinkets" in their music. Saying that psychedelia is only American or German is historically a load of nonsense... does "the piper at the gates of dawn" ring a bell? Look, I was just thinking of reviewing some English psych stuff. In my opinion, there are three distinct things: American stuff is one kind, English psychedelia is quite different, and German combines the two (let's not forget that it came along temporally after) and adds quite a bit of avant-garde to it.

Well, I don't exactly agree with moos (the name reminds me of a dog belonging to a guy I know). I mean, there are Beatles-esque moments, as mentioned, but let's say they're a bit plagiaristic. However, that's their problem, not the Beatles'. Honestly, being influenced by Sgt. Pepper is, in my opinion, never a flaw, quite the opposite. Anyway, when it comes down to it, they have very little to share with the Beatles; their sound is monstrously American.

Come on, I felt it just last night before going to bed... damn, another missed purchase from when I was in Tokyo, I must have seen it used ten times, + behold and see of this.

Well, the cover is, in my opinion, upgraded kitsch, it's on par with the Bubble Puppy and Kanguru by Guru Guru... ah, but for German bad taste, there should be a separate championship.

But even akuma no uta isn't that bad, just forget about the awful last work "Pink". Ah, akuma no kuma here stands for "the devil bear" and it fits perfectly as a title.

Damn, you did it! Good job because I decided to buy it after a year. It takes time to digest it, and having it in mp3 was getting on my nerves. I agree with the parallel you draw with the USA; in fact, it's excellent, maybe even better than these in my opinion.
