Sorry, dean, but explain to me why my review would be scaruffiana; I don't really care about Scaruffi at all. I met him through his pointless criticism of the Beatles, and that’s it. I don't want to discover hot water; I already know it. The only intent was to try to provide a more musical perspective on this album, since the other review didn't really do that. Then again, it's probably very didactic. At this point, given the arrogance that characterizes you, why don't you do it instead? Make me jealous with your witty pen, kid. Because from the way you argue, you must be 25 years old. Let's stop this; I have too many years behind me to fall for the verbal squabbles that half of you meteors on this site promote... in three months you won't be here, just like many others... it's a natural process of the site.

Nice brick, less than others but still sick. I can only feel it fully if I really smoke a lot and lie down like an opium addict on the couch. But Enry, the review was already there, and apart from always precise bibliographic anecdotes, it doesn’t add anything to Airone’s. But since I too have succumbed to the charm of duplicates, I’ll keep quiet. Regarding the editions you mentioned, I’ve never seen them; I have that collectible records one which is poorly divided. I once saw a digipack edition in Japan, but it looked like Akarma by the way it was made. But it seems to me that it's not on the akarma site, I’ll try to check. Charly does some excellent reissues; I have Easter Everywhere by the 13th with 10 extra tracks, not bad.

I just read it at work, Enry, and I have to say we agree on everything. If you had told me it was a masterpiece, I would have almost gotten pissed off. I've never managed to listen to it all, I think I'd commit suicide. The screams of pain are quite real, I agree. Ah, in the latest Ghost album there's a cover of "Caledonia."

Since when has the internet been a reliable source of information? I would also like to know if Fred Bongusto is really him or not. So far, the only authoritative source I've found is the one cited (namely the book Mazinga Nostalgia).

Alright, alright, in the end the goal of this rec has been achieved, a lively discussion, precisely what I wanted. I've already said too much about the album elsewhere. I never overanalyzed it, only when I did this rec two years ago. Then I basically went into overdose and barely listened to it again. In my (perhaps limited) way of enjoying the musical medium, this is not a masterpiece in every sense (if I were to assign decimals to the rating, it would be around 4.85, maybe). Unfortunately, even just a tiny bit of broader accessibility (meaning not just for niche ears) is essential to declare it a masterpiece, and here, gentlemen, there's almost none of that. As I said, maximum respect for the artist and the madness of the work, of course.

I read the rec enry at work, but I know them. I have to say that I did well not to buy it the many times I've seen this CD, because apart from the surprise effect of hearing practically an industrial band with bagpipes in '69, it never really grabbed me.

I made this review in a more didactic way two years ago, but for different places. Unfortunately, for the levels of debaser, it’s a bit scholastic, I know. But I published it to reignite some interesting comments in a review, since they've been missing for a while. At least the ones I consult. Anyway, everyone expects better, but trying is a first step. Many of us are terrified by this album, and it wasn’t easy for me to write about it back then either; you can be too didactic, too personal, or too intellectual. Anyway, regardless of the result, it helped me try to come to terms with this brick.

I don't know why three, I thought I had given it 5/5, which is the rating this delirium of a work deserves anyway. Please correct it my lovely editors!!!

I'm joining in on the surfer, sciaquetta they've been shoving down our throats for too long, trying to make us believe she had some previous artistic credibility (give me a break! Playing with No Doubt can't elevate the artistic value of any biped, I see it as a fault). I add that Scarlett Johansson also annoys me, but at least I understand she can turn heads, though she has a totally messed up face. Kidman was a knockout back in the day; now she's gone and had her lips and other things done without just cause, so screw her too. But at least they are good actresses, and that's not insignificant. Gwen could at most be a PR for some small-time album.
