Alright, here we are, getting to another plane is pure Gilmour, I had missed that. In the end, you made me want to listen to it again.

just one note: this is lagna-rock, it was coined precisely for the first rec that appeared on the Wilco site by the good ant_mo. For the rest, no news from my side.

Look, I'm putting it up now at work and I'll try to find the Floyd, we'll see... as for whether Ondarock or whatever webzine will pick it up or not, it obviously depends on tastes, but I've noticed that every Italian webzine, and not just Italian ones, tries to distinguish itself from the others. And given the lackluster state of the current scene, we end up praising bands that in periods of greater artistic fertility would be rated as just sufficient. So far, I'm considering only the latest Battles album as an 8/10. Maybe the only one in recent years. Then again, I might be wrong, but with various revivals aside, there’s a lot of smoke and not much fire everywhere.

What a filthy bullshit I wrote, I sprinkle my head and my cock with ashes. You're right, it was ki duk, besides the Vengeance Trilogy what else did Park do then? Shit, I remember having seen something else... mumble mumble... I barely remember Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance because I fell asleep.... but I definitely remember the scene with the tendon cut. I don’t know, I really liked Lady Vendetta....

For me, it's not a masterpiece; it's nice, I liked it, it's well-made, but it's not a masterpiece in my opinion. Strangely enough, I liked Lady Vengeance much more, a lot more violent, but with phenomenal psychological violence. This is a Tarantino-esque film (I don't mean to say it's copying Tarantino) but owes its hype to the historical moment. And anyway, get yourself Bad Guy by Park, which I saw at the Far East in Udine in 2001, that one is no joke either.

I wasn't crazy about the review or the album either... sure, they should remind us of Pink Floyd? I don't know, they don't even remind me of the folk ones from More, so I don't get the connection that Ondarock was making. For now, they leave me a bit indifferent, but I should dedicate more time to them.

metamatic don't talk nonsense, Buddhism is a reaction to the caste logic of Hinduism, but it has been influenced by it. Gautama was from a Brahmin family and had studied Hinduism. That he developed a doctrine that sought to distance itself from it is undeniable, but saying that they are two completely different religions is like saying that Christianity and Judaism are completely different, or that the Torah speaks of bananas and the Old Testament of God. In my own small way, I studied religions and philosophies for 8 years at university; it was even my field of study. I may be rusty, but not that much.

maybe I’ll have a moment of seriousness, but I would call it an "enlightened" moment or better yet samadhic (since we're on that topic). And stripped of masks and little disguises. Of course, I’ll be a boring stickler, and also stupidly mischievous, and I’m a jerk because given how I'm beginning to view the network and those who frequent it, I should be the one to leave. Maybe I’ll do that soon, or maybe never, who knows. @Lost: my criticism was for everyone and for no one, the point is that I don't believe people don’t take themselves seriously as you say; it's often a mask to lie to themselves. But anyway, I shouldn’t even bring this up, because everyone answers only to themselves and certainly not to me. So don’t take offense, mine was just a vent. @Puni: here too, I end up playing the ā€œseriousā€ role if I tell you that there are ā€œrealā€ bars, so I won’t say it... my reference to the ego wasn’t about the rec, but about the comments and the setup.

I usually tend not to judge, but after this sequence of egocentrism, I can’t help but do so. A question for those who respond on this page: Are you serious? I know you will answer no, that it’s just the game of the web, and various nonsense. But I truly believe it’s not. In my opinion, you are utterly convinced of your virtual avatar (just to stick to the Indological theme). And so, I think deep down, you throw it out there, but you are actually considering the possibility of flirting online (oh my god, what a silly thing, whether you are men or women, it’s the death of every feeling and shows a lack of self-love – or perhaps too much in your case). I don’t think you’re smart enough to play "the part," but I’m talking not only about you but about all the users on the site during my more than three years here. I admit that I also played along with this at first, thinking it was natural and healthy. Then I realized that it was driven by a desire to "be seen," and I took it more lightly. By now, the site hardly ever talks about music anymore; mediocre writings are often published just to have your nickname on the homepage. And it’s quite sad. I’ve shown the site to outsiders, and I assure you that sometimes it seems like a den of egomaniacs. But you just have to take a look at the millions of useless blogs (often created for visibility rather than communication) or worse, the obnoxious MySpace, which if you don’t have a group, is pure ego tripping. But I don’t understand – isn’t the real world enough for you? Did your parents not care much when you were little, did your classmates not pay attention to you either? I hope I’m wrong, people, but the trend of the site (and the web in general) is increasingly ego-oriented.
