Boris with Michio Kurihara Rainbow
Voto:
Sure, but in my opinion, Kurihara devours Wata for breakfast. Anyway, this is very little Boris as an album, no drones, no fake Motorhead stuff like Pink, all tracks soaked in the '60s/'70s. And I like it a lot! I chose this cover because the other one is really ugly; this is the one from the international edition of Drag City.
Quintessence Ocean Of Bliss: An Introduction To Quintessence

Unfortunately, the Egg really sucked for me; I have a conflicted relationship with progressive. The Eggs are the kind of progressive I don't like, with classical inserts and similar stuff. Other things that are less strictly progressive I like a lot more. Arcadium, Family, Arzachel, East Of Eden, Colosseum, some stuff from Caravan. In fact, if you want, I’ll sell it to you, Japanese edition bought in Tokyo 3 months ago. Bids are welcome.

Long live ceRebral music... I've been interested in them for a while, but before downloading I wouldn't want any nasty surprises like with the Eggs, just to name one. But are they like East Of Eden? The phrase that concerns me, though, is the one related to New Age... if that's the case, I'll avoid them like the plague.

I had read it too and it's good. I'll download it right away!
The Go Find Stars On The Wall

I downloaded it recently... I gave it a listen, I admit I was distracted, and to be honest, it kind of annoyed me a bit even while distracted by other things. I guess I just can't connect with that pop-indie-tiponotwist stuff. Give me a kilo of loud, brash decibels and my ears perk up right away!
Queens of the Stone Age Era Vulgaris

I wanted to add a "however," it fits well.
Queens of the Stone Age Era Vulgaris

"Era Vulgaris shows for now lights and shadows, but the latter are by far negligible if you particularly loved Lullabies To Paralyze." Well, I don't even know if I'll listen to it then. Lullabies aside, one song was pretty sad. But I think I'll give it to my partner who really likes them. However, autopilot is right about the fact that live they still suck compared to millions of overhyped bands. When they're not playing for just under an hour like in 2002, ASSHOLES!

Damn, even my friends like it a lot, maybe it's the best of the bunch.
Lars Von Trier The Kingdom

Fuck, I read about it in an English book called something like Lords Of Chaos, about the Norwegian black metal scene, and specifically about the murder by Burzum. The cover of MZ depicted a Norwegian gothic church (which I think was a national treasure) being set on fire, and it seems it was those assholes from the band who did it. If I remember correctly, the story raises quite a few doubts about the flaws in the theory of evolution...

I REALLY LIKED BELLA... sorry, I’ll turn off CAPS LOCK... but any other information about the band? Aside from Electric Wizard and Ufomammut, I used to know the scene back in the day and now nada de nada.
