Quentin Tarantino Grindhouse: Death Proof - A Prova di Morte
Voto:
saw it last night.....I don't know what to say but I had a blast like an idiot! You can tell that the added dialogues didn’t do any good (I’d love to see the version with the fake trailers and Rodriguez's trash), but it’s such a silly movie that I liked it a lot. Sure, it’s not a masterpiece but I wasn’t expecting that. What I enjoyed (over-the-top references to the 70's imagery aside) were those nonsensical dialogues. Let me explain: I liked Kill Bill but not too much, mainly due to the lack of insane dialogues that go nowhere (like the foot massage or the "Royal With Cheese" from Pulp Fiction). I found it too pretentious and not fun, based on fighting styles I had seen and seen again in other films it was inspired by. Instead, Grindhouse doesn’t give a damn about seriousness, and hits you with a dialogue like that (truly genius) between the sheriff and Son No. 1. And then the ending? I laughed my head off for a solid 5 minutes! I understand why some people don’t like it; you shouldn’t watch it thinking it’s a film with the pretensions of a masterpiece, obviously, you would come out disappointed. But honestly, it entertained me, which is something that Kill Bill, despite being a different film, didn’t do.

Well, if they’re like Motorpsycho, we really like them... but which Motorpsycho, Alessio?

I'm considering getting some notable ones, but I'm low on cash... I've had Litmus on my HD for a year now, but I still haven't figured out if I like them, the same goes for earthlings, liquid visions sula bassana, and various psiconauti. I'm missing Causa Sui, but on the bright side, I've also downloaded Siena Root, which isn't bad. However, so far, Titan and Assemble Head are the best. Even just for the first 6 months, 2007 is the quintessential psychedelic year.

In fact, I’m listening to it little because I don’t want to ruin it for myself, but I have to say it’s one of the best things in the field. Have you tried the Giant Brain that he reviewed? They’re really great too.

I remember that once they were psychedelic, like 5-6 years ago, now they’re hanging out with Block Party and that already stinks… of shit. We feel similarly about the new English wave.

asshole jerk I saw the movie too and I knew it was the first aerial... I was skating when you were still in elementary school... even though I only lasted three months... whatever I threw out a random name I wanted to write Peralta first but it seemed too old, even though by writing Hawk I did even worse! And make sure to show up on Soulseek, or else I'll send this Japanese friend of mine to your place:

Alright, then it’s another matter, which I don’t know so I’ll keep quiet. But now shall we start the serial? Damn, there will be the competition at the rec of EVERYTHING Lost! Through The Looking Glass.

This record is really interesting, no doubt about it; if I had the money, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I saw it with the uncut scene. A film that I don’t know what to say about; it really disturbed me at the time, but not because of amorality or similar nonsense, simply because it embarrassed me so much, I empathized and couldn’t understand how they managed it. Honestly, I withhold judgment, also because I have no desire to watch it again. Brilliant and crappy at the same time. @Puni: you seem to have paranoia about the Dwarfs. Just chill a bit, you even left a message on the homepage because they hadn’t published this review yet. For heaven's sake, I'm not here to tell you what to do, and you’re not an annoying user, but I don’t understand this anxiety.
