beautiful, indeed gorgeous. Of almost bothersome historical rigor, both for the armaments and for the stunning reconstructions of the dialects. Say hello to Averroes for me.

I've been listening to it for about a month now, and I must say it has many potential singles=tracks with immediate appeal=keep in a dry place otherwise the expiration date is short-term. Psyence Fiction was something else, but those were also different times (musically). What can I say, I don't think it's worth buying, but for now, I enjoy listening to it.

But if you didn’t take it personally, why do you assume it was directed at you? Or that it was meant to influence someone?

What can I say, I always like it; I listen to it at least once a week for the past 6 months. It's also my favorite album to sleep to, along with Join Inn by Ashra Temple and Hosianna Mantra by Popol Vuh.

Taken today after so much (too much) pondering, tonight I feel it, for now happy to have paid a measly pittance (4.90€!!)

They reprinted it at Universal, and voilà, here’s a trendy review from the trendiest site out there: Page Not Found

But it wasn’t a critique of their music; it was a personal excursus. In fact, sorry if it had nothing to do with the album. Lovelorn, I don’t understand why you’re taking it personally anyway.

We didn't understand each other, Flinstone; I agree with you in your second post. It would be worth outlining an analysis that takes into account all the good that has been produced, obviously. My post referred to the fact that even by making necessary distinctions, the masses remember the things mentioned above. There is no negative or positive connotation; that's just how it is. Of course, anyone who is interested in music shouldn't just cut to the chase by saying it was a shit decade with shit music. But the masses aren't that interested in music. Consequently, the aforementioned images remain.

Fellow citizens, terrible for my tastes. I remember one of them when he used to hang out at a friend's record store. I've always wondered why my city has had this resurgence of metal; I mean, I was a bit of a metalhead myself when I was younger, but it feels strange to see people dressed in studded leather pants and Blind Guardian t-shirts. Are the Yuppie Flu really any worse, who have been bragging for ages and are perpetually grumpy?

but mine wasn't a criticism from a provincial standpoint; I couldn't care less that trends arrive late. What's important is that those who follow them contextualize them to the place they live in; otherwise, they end up being caricatures. If we think about it, the raised collar was already in fashion in the early '90s (that look a bit like Pietro Maso's is making a strong comeback), but now it's been massified to the point where I've seen companies printing slogans under the collar! Argh, I swear that as soon as I see one in the car, I slow down and stare at them for a long time, trying to project my total hatred onto them, hoping they'll realize they're a loser who thinks they're cool but is really a loser like very few. Enough, end of the rant, I'm off to work.
