Mogwai Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait
Voto:
I've always been curious to see this documentary, also because the choice of mogwai is spot on; many of their records are film music, for better or worse. In other words, if you give them too much attention, they can be boring, but if you keep them in the background and don't focus on them too much, they're emotionally brilliant.
As for the footballers, Maradona is still, in my opinion, an alien compared to the rest. Pelé is neither better nor worse, because they can't be compared: they played in periods that are too distant in terms of style and speed of play to be compared. From what I've seen, Maradona had a monstrous execution speed in a football era that was already quite frantic, and his technique was the same. Zidane was one of the most beautiful players to watch in the late 90s and early 00s. And especially the jab at Materazzi shows class. But obviously, that troglodyte simpleton Materazzi didn’t get it and immediately insulted his relatives. Then, it's undeniable that he was an idiot for headbutting him, but it remains a joy for the eyes.

but goddammit why do all you shaving idiots write in this fucking shitty way? we’re not texting on a phone, so let’s write properly. Why amiko and not AMICO since the time to type the two words is IDENTICAL? I like your open musical approach, you have a guaranteed future, while I have a present that is God and works as a waitress, not many come around, only in the right places.....

I was about to get pissed off about the clichés regarding Japan, but since you know my studies, I’ll stop. Adriano, if only everything (not just Japan, Italy, or the USA) could be so easily reduced to four definitions, we’d all live much more bored but secure in ourselves. Instead, the harsh reality is the realm of absolute chaos; trying to categorize is an effort that everyone makes but serves no purpose. And yes, for certain things, Japan does suck, but not for the reasons you mentioned, unless you’re 60 years old.

beautiful memento, middle finger to the devil included. I only have black one and Altar; I heard this back then and the idea of listening to it again still terrifies me quite a bit. As I said in a review I wrote for a fanzine about black one, "listening to Sunn O))) always gives you the feeling that something unpleasant is about to happen to us at any moment; and if not directly to us, maybe to a close relative."
The Stooges Fun House

Well, mine wasn’t much, but you, my son, didn’t put in much effort either... let's just say I won't say anything more about the album, it is THE fundamental album of rock (hard, and roll or whatever you want to call it). To say it resembles the Doors seems a bit far-fetched to me, also due to a certain lack of organ... In the double album released a couple of years ago, there are some funny anecdotes about the recording sessions. By the way, who’s going to take on reviewing the Funhouse sessions?

I think you are right because shirazu means not doing or not being, but since it also means free form, I thought it fit. The problem is that I really don’t know shibusa.
