Well, that link was made for the curious… @Opel: I am absolutely serious, long live acidity, it cleanses the mouth (especially if it’s sparkling), it lets you digest kilos of raw oysters and seafood, and it keeps you awake with its latent gastritis. Red wine often makes me fall asleep now, but it’s definitely more stomach-friendly.

@Giubbo: yeah, it's just a matter of days.....and maybe it's time to decide on a name like....

I have an exemption for driving license collection, I show my business card and wear a charming smile. So far (when I'm in a suit and tie) it has worked, let's hope for the best. I have never tried Sciachetrà, but as I said, I prefer pronounced acidity. @ghemi: Gewurtz is the luck of the Trentino and Alto Adige regions; they sell truckloads a day, but it’s a bit of a "people-pleaser" wine, liked by everyone, and I can only handle it as an appetizer. Then it depends on who makes it and how, just like all grape varieties. @odra: dear, I imagined you would like it, my rating is 3/5 because on some days it’s a 2/5 and on others a 4/5, so a precise average. I need to look deeper into Catarratto, but I have been feeling some aversion to southern whites lately... also reds. Am I becoming a Lega drinker? I recommend the Borgo del Tiglio winery that I mention at the end, with spectacular whites... and take a look at Gravner's website linked here... a total madman, but a genius!

I'm psycho, 32 years old, and I saw them last night.....a blast! They completely blew my mind...but there wasn't much in there anyway, so no serious repercussions.

@ajeje: I know it's a blasphemy, but I have memories of the tenant from 18 years ago or so, so it's like I've never seen him. Tonight I'll try the download.

Friend, no one is trying to say that storiadellamusica is terrible; I've even written that there are some great reviewers, like Simone Coacci, Bisius who writes here, and that guy with the crazy name, Briona. I was just sorry that, despite having the possibility to comment on the reviews, it’s not very frequented, that’s all. I wish it were as lively as here on debaser, that’s it. The demographic discourse, I admit, is often self-serving and perhaps somewhat superficial, but I often get pissed off when I find people on the Ondarock forum (which I visit occasionally, by the way, so I talk about it with at least some knowledge and not out of bias or for advertising) who ramble with exaggerated pedantry about the importance of this and that artist and then you find out they have maybe 6 years of listening experience behind them. Sure, it’s a ridiculous discourse and a bit hierarchical, but as I wrote in the rec of the Residents, to pontificate and therefore absorb and create a small musical culture (but not only) takes time. Then there are exceptions, for example Roof here is very young (he’s half my age), but doesn’t talk about music pompously, as I sometimes see on Ondarock. Again, it’s not an obsession; I often find Ondarock’s setup irritating, but that’s my issue. For instance, the forum of Il Mucchio, even though the same guys often hang around, is more fun and rowdy, and you might get an interesting comment from people like Guglielmi, who at least brings some experience to the table. I mean, when I was 24, I wouldn’t have even dreamed of acting all knowing about music or anything else. That really annoys me. And it’s not supposed to be a “We are better than them” kind of argument or similar nonsense. Debaser has been cyclically at the mercy of stupid trolls and so on, but it’s fucking FREE with all its pros and cons. I fundamentally don’t like the moderator. People who call the police and other crap like that. Just go screw yourselves; you’re nothing without guts! Everyone crying to their mommy. Luca, it makes me angry when people completely expose themselves on the internet, thinking of it as a non-place and not reality, then when someone spoils their public image, everyone cries. The freedom of a place like this needs to be managed; someone sang that freedom is a form of discipline, and I somewhat agree. Plus, Debaser sometimes really functions like a living organism; gradually, those who can’t withstand so much freedom, especially those who can’t accept banter and similar things, leave naturally. It’s definitely a less fake place than many forums where it feels like being at Rispoli. Unfortunately, sometimes some great writers leave, and many excellent reviews get spoiled by the usual idiots, but as far as I’m concerned, I often shrug it off and don’t take it seriously, as many monomaniacs do. I agree with you about the crappy reviews that ruin the site, but approaching it this way, banning them would be pointless. There are modifications to be made, but in general, I have no problems here. Those who have problems on debaser have problems elsewhere too. In fact, many people who couldn’t stand it here ended up annoying other sites (like Francis who’s on Ondarock, for example). Maybe they defend him there, but when he was being a megalomaniac here, he was rightly insulted, just like in real life. Anyway, sorry for the length, but I’ve wanted to write this stuff for a long time.

STUNNING film, alongside Repulsion. Mia Farrow is eerily ethereal. Even more unsettling in light of what the Family did in Bel Air shortly after. I was thinking of a similar cradle for my next little girl; she already has a Cthulhu model to befriend, but there's something missing that’s more explicitly sinister in the room...

Well, lukin, I put it aside about three months ago. Congratulations on the stoicism. Just the day before yesterday, I was spinning records in a bar and I finished with Disappointed In The Sun, and I got a little teary thinking about the dEUS of the old days...

I will be grabbing it this summer for obvious reasons. But it doesn’t convince me much; a lot of the stuff it mentions is interesting, but some things I just can’t digest at all, like Les Rallizes Denudes or however the hell you spell it. The Taj Mahal Travellers are way out there but interesting. However, a lot of the stuff I’ve heard leaves me puzzled. Anyway, if you go to the Ondarock forum, there’s like a dedicated section. If you can withstand the hyper-excited ramblings of some characters, mostly under 25, who rave about Japanese records (obviously all lost masterpieces), it's a good way to get a general idea of the bands. I’m interested, for once, in the historical-sociological introduction + something else.
