I would give one just for the nickname, and I would give a pure one to Agnelli, but I would be too kind to the real Piero and also to Agnelli, not to mention hypocritical, since I haven't heard anything from the After since '97 (but I had the misfortune of crossing paths with Agnelli outside the concert scene and he always made my hands itch).

never able to digest, I got the first and Kilimanjaro 4 years ago (found them used for little) but I was literally horrified! Sound horrible (at least for me) and a brass section that sounded like it was made from plastic instruments. Unfortunately, I couldn't resist and gave it away as soon as I could. I feel a bit bad about it, since I like Fried a lot and maybe I was a bit hasty, but it really disgusted me.

Well done, Mike, that's exactly the iconography I was referring to!

I'm joining the discussion to say that I missed the Left Lane, too tired to go to Cesena after work and watching concerts alone depresses me. Howlin Rain, I think I'll pass, Pescara is still quite far (it always takes me an hour and a half, and the return would be a pain). On the bright side, I think I'll also miss the Black Angels, and at this point the Los Natas that I wanted to see.... what a lousy concert season this year!

Monotheisms do not shine for cultural relativism, that's for sure. Fortunately (at least for Catholicism), believers themselves have, over the centuries, bent the creed to their daily lives, making it more malleable. It's obvious that strictly adhering to the dictates of the Vatican councils risks seeing the world in a rather limited way, but Deogratias, I hope, there are always fewer staunch believers. Islam is a bit different; they have the excuse of having created a monotheism that is also a State, making it even harder (if not impossible) to manipulate. Anyway, I don't remember enough to have completely clear ideas. Christianity in Europe came with the strange reappearance of St. Peter in Rome after he had been captured by the Jews (theoretically, he should have met the same fate as John the Baptist or Christ, but instead he vanished only to reappear, we don't know how, in Rome, alive and well, free to spread the faith); my discussion precedes even the Egyptian cults and refers to a period dated around 15,000 years before Christ. Then again, these are theories and thus chronologies that are still quite uncertain.

Yesterday I listened to the Peel Sessions called Wolf Flow... for now, it's quite mind-blowing as an album.

Guitar Wolf for life! If you find Dodekishi Dozaemon, Thee Michelle Gun Elephant (but be careful, they've done a lot of crap), Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her (you probably figured out that since they don't know English, the Japanese come up with some crazy names for bands), and millions of others I don't know. Also, because I've never been a fan of Japan, although I’ve lived there and studied it extensively.
