What a mine of rhetoric this is. Even the monkey business of throwing the stone and hiding your hand, by quoting the thoughts you've "chosen" to take from the book, says a lot. To me, this stuff has always seemed like a media move at a time when Berlusconi's rhetoric was all the rage (and on that same long wave he would win in 2001). Then I agree mostly with point one from Stoney: you can be a communist and not share the application of communism as implemented by the USSR, China & Co., and (as Iside used to say) even my uncle in the '80s told me that Stalin was "a pig." I liked gbrunoro's contribution (even though I don't agree with the discourse on the church, which defends life; therefore, if someone fails within it, the house of cards collapses, because it's based on dogmas), especially regarding bringing the other side into the discussion without analytically examining the facts. A stupid example that comes to mind is the Lewinsky scandal. The story of the blowjob was brought out by a Republican newspaper (I can't remember the name), but once the reality of the facts was established, there was no back-and-forth between Democrats and Republicans over the authorship and thus the truthfulness of the news; they began to (not) proceed based on the fact itself. In our case, all of this is impossible, just like it's impossible to find a clean source of information that doesn't try to twist the facts to its side. I still think this is a tendency more prevalent among right-leaning newspapers, but once in a while, even Liberazione writes nonsense. Ah, someone above brought up Pansa, calling him an "intellectual"… brrr… let's shudder…

beautiful thing, even for someone like me who has a galaxy of records from the mid-60s to '76, then a few nebulas until '79, followed by a cosmic void pressurized from '80 to '88, sort of. Always being urged to at least get unknown pleasure but never convincingly convinced.

Damn, I think a friend told me this story, I'm just looking for a book for my upcoming work trips. I'll search for it! And welcome back Panico, drop a few lines about some psychedelic albums too.

But in fact, after a while of listening, it seems to me that sometimes they don't know where they're going. That's why I waited to review it, since at first I was super enthusiastic. Now I'm a bit regretful about the purchase, but for 6 euros it's manageable! Anyway, I'd like to get the split with the aforementioned Arbouretum where they cover both songs by John Cale, since this album is over a year old (it was reissued this year by Thrill Jockey but originally came out in 2007). Oh, and happy new year!

found yesterday for two and a half euros on Amazon. At this point, I’ll take it; who knows, maybe a nostalgic grunge throwback will hit me.

I found a 45 RPM of these along with Mudhoney, I’ve put it on hold and I’ll get it soon... but I don’t know if it’s worth it... what do you think?

And what about Wyndorf? Does he still have something to say or is he old and out of shape?
