Did you mean to write hovercraft? Now even that poor guy Lovecraft was right-wing? I'm curious about what brilliant interpretative key they provide for Lovecraft. I just don't get it. Maybe because he often identified the wild and unspoiled nature with Evil, or anyway as a dangerous place? Or because he considered Native Americans as bearers of who knows what ancestral cult? At this point, I’m honestly curious. And anyway, I specify that I am opposed to any ideological reading a posteriori, which is rather pointless in itself.

Hello folks. Kranky has been putting out some amazing stuff lately, and I also recommend White Rainbow, which I mentioned above – it's long but truly interesting. I think Cloudland is better than what a fleeting listen might suggest, while not being too difficult. Come on Lewis, I think you know the cover they're referring to! Or Supersoul. Anyway, Friday is the solution.

This review is proof that it’s not a book for the new generations. It’s no surprise that it might not be liked, but this is the archetype of fantasy, so let’s not blame Tolkien for the faults of those who poorly imitated him over the years, nor for the right-wing interpretation of the book, as those in the fascist camps would need some examples of literature to cling to... no pun intended, obviously... to think that some interpret the Indian epic poem Bhagavad Gita in a Nazi key... bah. And I agree with what Stoney writes, the essence of the book is that, and its essentialist nature is something that cannot be helped. Tolkien lived in a world that was a bit his own; think that when they tried to interview him with a recording device, he started praying and making gestures towards the microphone! Yes, in short, every work needs to be contextualized, especially now when the average intellectual level of people is at historic lows and the attention span for any written work is tailored to fit Moccia.

Who said he wrote Orientalism? The one who was throwing stones during the intifada of 2000? A salute (whether it's him or not) to one of the most interesting minds of the century.

In fact, hypnosphere, I read Italian news in The Guardian, The Independent, The New York Times, and a few other American outlets. Ideological marketing would be a nice label to describe at least the last 10 years of our politics.

beautiful as always super, and I'm downloading these right away! Also because I think I'll fall victim to the newly remastered editions of the three Loop albums, and since I've found the peel sessions at a stall I'd say the discography is almost complete. Bluebird help me out!

I'll go see it as soon as it arrives in my desolate lands. Let's not forget the unsettling relevance of the film's theme, considering what they're doing in Palestine. But is Sharon still in a coma since 2006?

the movie has made me lose the desire to buy it, plus most of the time the cost of graphic novels is always too high compared to the content. I think I'll finish the volumes of Sin City or even better, I'll buy the summary volume of From Hell.

I wanted to review the previous "Invasive Exotics" a couple of years ago, which is "more exotic" than this one. It's a bit too new wave for me; in fact, this summer I tried to get into it in every way possible, but in the end, I gave up. I would have forced myself to like it.
