Hanna & Barbera Dastardly e Muttley - Squadrone Avvoltoi

Well, between this and the Wacky, I prefer the Wacky, but Klunk is still a legend. You could have spared me the BS about the giant robots if it was just a provocation. Besides, what does it have to do with anything? It's like comparing McEnroe and Maradona to see who is stronger. The fact that their respective sports use a ball doesn't make them comparable.

found in limited edition phoenix records last week. So at least I can get an idea of it.

It's been on the waiting list for a while. For now, I have only America and Fare Forward Voyagers. Oh, and one called Blind Joe Death. Always very interesting, Ben Chasny and his raga/noise delusions got me into it. But can you handle Robbie Basho? I tried to listen to some of it and it gave me a stomach ache. I swear.

I still have to listen to it, but I'm slow this year with the listens.

I agree, man, one of the best lines ever written about deb! In Tokyo, I found a record released only there for Leaf Hound on vinyl, I think it’s called Bullseye of Being... but it’s not exactly amazing.

What do you need to apologize for? I repeat, personally I don't like Snyder (having seen 300), but everyone has their own tastes!
Zack Snyder Watchmen

Interesting, but this is unforgivable: "we're talking about the one who projected one of Frank Miller's masterpieces in three dimensions" 300 is not a masterpiece by Miller, and the movie is a total drag. Personal opinion, of course. I imagined there would be those fucking slow-motion or "bullet time" effects; he doesn’t know how to use anything else, 300 is a constant slow-mo, too bad it's been since Matrix that no one has found a new idea in action scenes, maybe just the handheld camera and aerial shots in certain parts of The Lord of the Rings, then it was just a continuous repetition. From what I gather in these two reviews, my fears are materializing. That is, that the aforementioned 43-year-old had to/wanted to make a superhero movie. And Watchmen is not a comic about superheroes. It's stopping at appearances. The core is what Workhorse writes about, the anti-heroism, the sadness of a world that is ending. Removing this (but there are countless themes and subtexts in the text) undermines the reason why it is considered (rightly so) one of the greatest masterpieces of American comics. At this point, an operation like that of 300 is more honest. Who knows, I’ll defer everything until after watching it; let's hope to be proven wrong. @Kind: the Chronicles of the Black Ship will be out on DVD from what it seems.

Anyway, the Pitchfork review is out... and although I don't agree with the rating for now (it's not insufficient, but it's definitely not Rites), I find myself in agreement on some points. Those are the ones I mentioned above.

"Will you watch the Watchmen?" is an initiative that emerged online to boycott Snyder and his film. Now, I don't know if it's right or wrong, but I've been reading rumors about the screenplay for months, hints from Moore suggesting not to go see the movie and that he has nothing to do with it, yet I think I will try to watch it. With the probable disappointment in my heart, since, it seems, Snyder has completely disregarded the plot (not to mention the unsettling subtext of the comic, turning four psychotic losers into Marvel superheroes - Night Owl has a belly, just to say, and he doesn’t look like a future Batman), to the point that the ending is different. I sincerely hope I'm wrong; otherwise, I would be seriously pissed off. I obviously recommend reading the comic first, and then maybe the movie, so you don’t ruin a great reading experience.
