"Nosferatu by Murnau, the only one who has been able to show the slow collapse of vital forces contaminated by Evil"... since you mention it, I recommend watching Werner Herzog's Nosferatu as well, which further explores the direction of the description you gave of Murnau's film.

It's a real shame that on the tracklist of an album with such a particular atmosphere, songs like "Mein" (where Tankian's vocal inserts are nothing short of terrible: let's start a petition: "enough with these stupid collaborations, it's not mandatory to have guest artists from other bands on your albums"), "Rats! Rats! Rats!" (where they should have kept the intro line of the song - although the way the voice is used may not be liked, it's actually quite sparse and not bad) and ELIMINATE THAT PATHETIC CHORUS [which, combined with the SOAD-style guitar fury present at the 3/4 mark of the song, turns this piece into one of the saddest and most embarrassing episodes of their entire career]). I still give it a 4 because the drummer's performance is really stunning (his touch is truly unique and personal), and because despite those two disgusting tracks, it creates wonderful atmospheres. I recommend remastering the album by removing them and listening to it that way. P.S.: I absolutely do not agree with what you wrote about "Pink Cellphone."
