SeventhKing's comment made me laugh my ass off. Great comment.

In the upcoming reviews, I will try to include some samples. However, if you're interested, there's the link to Yasutoshi Yoshida's MySpace, where there's a player that plays selected tracks in rotation.

I'm referring only to the Nattefrost case, of course, not to the entire BM... that would be too much.

Of course, deathinaug', I understand that if you don't like it, you don't like it. However, I listened to it closely this morning while going to and from work... and I haven't laughed like that in a long time. Alone on my bike, in the middle of traffic, hearing someone scream "the power of Satan is everywhere" with such conviction... it was truly hilarious). The finale of the album (a march like the bersaglieri played by a marching band) was the last straw. In my opinion, we can disregard the riffs; this is music made to be listened to inside an old white Panda, in the countryside and in the dead of winter, doing drunken headbanging. It's a very true situation, in short.

Come on guys, how can you resist phrases like "Morbid Sick Pervertor, Unholy Evil Fornikator" (ringing any bells?) or "Satan is True Black Metal" (this one is fabulous but unfortunately it’s on the other album)? My rating for Blood & Vomit is 4 stars.

Strange, on the cover of what I downloaded, his name is written in spray paint (!?), then there's the hilarious part on the back of the book ("PROBABLY THE BEST ALBUM IN THE WORLD"... but does he really write that himself? what a character... or "THERE IS NO KEYBOARD ON THIS ALBUM!!!!!"). Jokes aside, I didn't dislike it at all. I still need to check out the lyrics, but the musical impression is quite good. It's very violent, raw, and invigorating, and the voice in some parts is stunning. Vomit and farts are contained in two short tracks and certainly not for 40 minutes (that’s exaggerated!). I repeat, I listened to it briefly, but the impression it gave me is quite positive. The photo on the back cover is almost legendary. And come on, the black metal is also this.

In being so ahead of its time, it has become a classic. You did well to mention the aspect related to guitar playing. It is very important.

For me, it's truly impossible not to quote the first comment from psychopompe, especially due to the "history repeating itself elsewhere" (I've actually experienced the exact same thing). While from the review, despite deathinaug's desire to assert the contrary regarding the actual material quality of the album, I can't help but feel at least a desire to download and listen to the album in question... so my comment for now is partial. Let's say I'm approaching the listening with confidence, very curious about what I've read. Sometimes, guys, it's also necessary to break the impasse caused by that very attitude of musicians that turns into a pose, leading to the decline of a lot, a whole lot of music in the universe of empty containers. The fact that someone who has been part of the scene since 1990 and founded an important band like Carpathian Forest (I mean... it's not just any band) made fun of the blackster poses, in my opinion, carries a lot of significance.
