I take note of djmushroom's comment when he says "I remember having seen the movie and it seemed like nonsense to me. I admit, though, that I'm not a big film buff." There's a certain weight to this. Because, indeed, when did you have to be a film buff to say that Argento's cinema is fundamentally ignorant? Excuse me...

Ogre, there are many people who couldn't get a sense of the movie even after watching it, the movie. that 1 could have been spared. or you could have given it to the fish, for example.

the 5 is excessive though. think of it as a 2 and 3 quarters.

Vic Sorriso, I didn't know it was you c.h.a.r.l.i.e. nokia (guys, it's time for debaser to adopt a "tree" or "honeycomb" structure to solve the clone problem, it's becoming impossible to understand anything). Anyway, I applaud you because you were clear, combative (as a review of broad scope should ALWAYS be, especially when it leans towards criticism) and you employed successful linguistic structures. I also add that your reviews under the name Vic Sorriso are masterpieces. My respects.

I don’t understand the criticisms of the review (possibly more due to private grudges than anything else), which I found to be extraordinarily effective. At certain points, you might go a little off track, but some phrases are so in tune with the film that they make it perfect. The directorial quotes you included reflect the top of my personal "idols" ranking. What can I say... 5. Well done.

Yes, Dante, but The Lord of the Rings is indeed an exception amidst a slew of wretched titles (see those inspired by Dungeons & Dragons). That sentence of mine was not intended as a jab at the fans (presumed, real, potential) but at the genre, which is literally a magnet for certain audiences. I apologize for the 1, and I’ll make amends.

this film is proof that the fantasy market is so full of fools ready to be taken for a ride (no offense). C. Paolini himself demonstrates this, declaring that he can finish the Eragon book trilogy in less than 3 years. Considering that Tolkien took no less than 20 years to bring The Lord of the Rings to light, the paradigm is clear. Tobby wonders if the names of the villains always end in X. It's not a superficial question. If you look at the names of the races and the villains present in Paolini's "work," you'll notice how they are clearly the result of decontextualized invention and devoid of any philological element (even though they might be supported by possible fantasy worlds: not even that). The names of monsters and creatures are the most blatant confirmation of what I'm saying. Ridiculous and gratuitous beyond all limits.

I put my face on the line and propose for this review a nomination as a literary case.
