I like Untilted, it sounds tough and very concrete. While this Quaristice is not only shamelessly indefinite (even though it's a mistake to define it that way, let's say it's indefinite just to be clear and avoid using more derogatory terms) but it is distinctly a step below what was already heard in LP5. And I mean... LP5 wasn't that great, actually... it's one of their least inspired albums overall.

I really adore Autechre, I truly do. I consider them the most important presence in the world of electronic music. A duo that has been able to redefine the standards of global electronic music with every album they released. I'm not just saying this for the sake of it, I really hold them in high regard. However, damn, this album is really fucking terrible.
