Dimmu Borgir World Misanthropy (Standard Version)

Yes, the fact that Dimmu dressed like Cradle, I mentioned that; I was just making a general observation. Anyway, it seems that the most significant black metal scene is no longer in Norway, but of all places in the United States (!). I downloaded some tracks from Leviathan (a California one-man band)... and I'm at a loss for words. It's absolutely astounding.

I’m giving a 5 to Marcel Proust's first comment on this review. I discovered Leviathan 5 minutes ago with a couple of downloaded tracks. And damn, it’s mind-blowing... could it be that "true" black metal has moved to the United States?!

All these acrobatics (and the wait until 00:30) to understand that ska-reggae is absolutely useless music?
Dimmu Borgir World Misanthropy (Standard Version)

I will never tire of repeating that on all Dimmu's albums there are For All Tid (epic in the most poetic sense of the term) and Spiritual Black Dimensions (incredibly evil and satanic, not to mention damned engaging). I don't understand the comparison with Cradle anyway. In the beginning, the two bands were quite different from each other (in fact, they had nothing to do with each other). It was only starting from Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia that the Dimmu revealed themselves as a band lacking imagination and prone to copying the Cradleof'failtiano icons and clothing. So the "blame" lies with the Dimmu; which doesn't even merit the comparison. Truly sad. Very sad. Poor little orphan For All Tid.

"If you were born in 1984, and you are 22 years old, you can't be a musical phenomenon (unless you're Mozart or Bob Dylan)." Sorry, but that's nonsense and you can keep it to yourself.

A pep92 can only take responsibility for saying that the best album by the system is this one (in my opinion a load of crap), and that the group's strength lies in the alternation of violence and melody. Just another review from the pep...
