You clearly don't know much about Bowie; this album has much more substance than what a superficial listen might suggest, and really, it's so much more. And anyway, giving it a 3 is madness; it's a fundamental work. It's also true that the recording leaves something to be desired, and it's not completely "clean," but you can tell it was conceived in a moment of grace! These are the albums that drive me crazy!
