In my opinion, the album is fabulous; it still showcases Ellington's genius and versatility even through a trio. Before the final vote for the review, I wanted to understand what you mean by this phrase "È un divertissement, nulla più," because I can't seem to find the "meaning" of it in the album.

I voted for morningstar again for you, also because with the total of 2 votes it reaches the correct star rating.

chiarezza is my co-pilot 2 albums that are too different with different "messages" (but always sublime) to be compared, just like others by Mingus, 2 masterpieces for different reasons.
Miles Davis Kind Of Blue

The review is good; the album remains a gem of music.

I don't know this Cobham album, but it seems interesting; nice review. Ocram, I also recommend the first one by the Mahavishnu Orchestra, "The Inner Mounting Flame" (1971) (featuring Cobham on drums) and of course the classics by Miles Davis: "Bitches Brew," "Jack Johnson," and "In a Silent Way."
