Whether you prefer Page more is another matter.

Zarathustra listen to the acoustic version of "Hear My Train A Comin'" then you can tell me if he doesn't know how to use the acoustic guitar (maybe he hasn't used it much but not because he couldn't play) as for Hendrix's compositions I could list plenty that match those you mention for Page (still a great, but incomparable).

But you see, you agree with me; you cited Kandinsky for "painterly love" not so much for the "true" resemblance. I also don't find that much affinity with Miró. This is a Japanese painter, Neil Fujita, who perhaps resembles Kandinsky for the musical exploration of form/color.

Superb album, excellent review (just a note, "Kandinskij cover" feels a bit off since it's quite different from the paintings of the father of abstraction).

Great mention Jimi was truly a giant, the review is nice too, but are the tracks studio recordings? I saw that there's also "angel", is it another version?

An absolute masterpiece that cannot be missing in a respectable jazz club. P.S. I also have the cover with the drawing.
